Blues win tomorrow, the six seed awaits

Thanks to a Columbus loss tonight to Minnesota and an Anaheim SO loss to the Coyotes, the Blues can get the six seed with a WIN tomorrow vs the Avs. If this were to happen, the blues would be headed to Canada to take on Vancouver. Anything else, it's the 8 seed and they'd be headed to California to take on the Sharks. This almost means the blues are assured of NOT drawing detroit in the first round. thank god.

This crap is juuuuuuuust getting started. Memphis is expected to target Mike Anderson or USC coach Tim Floyd to be the replacement. According to an "industry source" (whatever the hell that is), Anderson is willing to listen to what Memphis has to offer. Sigh.

Does it make you mad that the NFC West Standings look like this?

1. Arizona 4-2

2. St. Louis 2-4

3. San Francisco 2-5

4. Seattle 1-5

Or does it make you happy that the Rams started this?

Just curious. These words exist simply to fulfill the 75 word requirement. Did I mention I hate the requirement. I think that if you want to post a quick-hitter like this, you should be able to. I think that most blogs have decent enough leadership to weed out the fanposts that suck and to find the ones that are really good. Because some of those may be below 75 words.

Oh yeah, and Josh Brown.

Mike Nolan Goes ByeBye

per ESPN.

The 49ers fired coach Mike Nolan today, after starting 2-5 on the year. The 49ers organization felt like there was no direction, which is evident through their five straight losing seasons...and a sixth on the way. Assissant Mike Singletary is the new coach, hoping to turn around the 49ers much like Haslett has done with the Rams...fat chance.

The Rams still have two games remaining with the 49ers this season.

That's good news for the economy, as experts we're thinking that the dow might crash today. That's good news for investors as now they are making money. I need fourteen more words. This sentence exists to fulfill that. Sentence, sentence, sentence. GO NUMBER THREE!!

Cards take this one 8-3. A decent pitching performance by Wellemeyer after the early stuggles. The bullpen did unusually well, with Franklin shutting them down in the eighth when it really mattered. The offense has finally broken out of their recent stuggles with 20 runs in 2 games. The Cards are now 3.5 games out of first and 1.5 game out of the wild card pending the outcome of the Cubs vs. Brewers game.
