An All BIG-EAST player in college at West Virginia, Gansey played for the Miami Heat in the 2006-07 preseason, but his bid for an NBA roster spot was cut short by a staph infection that threatened his life and put a halt to his career."

Maybe not a bad addition to the Miami Heat this year as well...send Mike back where he got his first NBA shot!
