Lone Star Ball 1/4/2012 OT Thread Studcrackers video

Alright, so some people on here know I've been trying to become a comedian for awhile, a few weeeks ago I participated at the Addison Improv in the Funniest Comic in Texas, I got to perform in front of about 300 people which was cool, it was the best I'd ever done so I figured Id put it on here to see what people think (and to feel better and/or worse about myself) I didnt advance but still had a great time.

So I figured some people might be interested in this

Lone Star Ball Fun times at the Coliseum

So does everyone remember when the fans were distracted at last nights game and Tom was mocking the big fat guy?

Well I just found this while browsing deadspin that an old man was being nasty and beligerent and wouldnt stop even when a few officers told him not to. This led to the old man being tased. Soon after this another guy starts going off on them and 10 seconds later a foul ball comes into the picture.

Here's the story and video at deadspin: http://deadspin.com/5330747/tasers-and-foul-balls-make-for-an-eventful-night-in-oakland

the video quality on youtube though is much better and easier to see (though it may not be there for long) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EunVYJgR7U

Lone Star Ball Harrison out for the season

Just saw this on the dallas morning news blog by anthony andro:

The Texas Rangers left-hander has been diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, and will miss the remainder of the season. Harrison is weighing his options regarding surgery, but will not not pitch again this year. If he has surgery, it could come as early as Monday. Harrison experienced some discomfort during a rehab outing Wednesday in Frisco. The left-hander is 4-5 with a 6.11 ERA.

Harrison was diagnosed by Dr. Greg Pearl. TOS is the same injury would Kenny Rogers had in 2001 and Hank Blalock in 2007.

Can't say I'm completely surprised and sucks for him, curious if he'll be starting next year in AAA or maybe even as our long man

Lone Star Ball Rangers podcast?

Hello fellow Ranger fans, recently I started my own podcast on blogtalkradio.com It works like any podcast except the beauty of this is you can record it live and also take phone calls.

Anyways I've been coming to this site since late last season and now I visit several times a day and participate in game threads when I can as it has become one of my favorite sites. But would you people be interested in a weekly Rangers podcast and would you also participate and call in etc...? Because I've been thinking about doing a show tomorrow around 5 before the Rangers play Toronto, it could either be a half an hour or hour long show.

Here's the link to my site on there (have 2 previously recorded segments on there) http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Mitchell-Clemons

and here's the call in # (347) 327-9757
