Apparently this was made in '07 but is only now seeing the net. Pretty funny.
Roy is really starting to irk me...
"Most of the time I'm like I get lulled to sleep, like it's not coming, it's not coming. Then when it comes it surprises me. I have to have the mindset that it's coming to me every time.''
- Roy Williams
You suck at footballl for a living and apparently you know it. Now you don't even expect the football.... in a FOOTBALL game... at a position that SHOULD see lots of footballs come your way?
You make me sick Roy... You really do.
BTB can help underprivellaged kids to read with a click!
Hey guys, I'll keep this short since it's not Cowboy related. I've already spoke to Grizz about it and he graciously gave the green light. I figured what better place to come to ask for help than BTB!
My father works for Super Stars Literacy, a non profit organization, working with underprivileged children who have fallen behind on their reading skills. A few important notes their site gives us;
•Children who grow up in poverty receive as little as 40 hours’ exposure to print material prior to entering school, compared to children of wealthy parents, who received an average of 1000 hours exposure.
•There is an almost 90% chance that a child who is a poor reader at the end of grade 1 will be a poor reader in grade 4.
•Children not reading at grade level by the end of the third grade are at serious risk of never graduating from high school.
Currently, $10,000 is being offered to 3 non profit organizations. The more we vote, the more money we help SSL receive. All I'm asking you to do is to click your mouse 3 times. You can vote once a day I believe. Voting ends on Jan 15th!
1. CLICK HERE
2. Mouse over the Super Stars Literacy logo at the bottom on the sticky note and click "select".
3. When it asks you to donate $1 click yes (the $1 comes from the already established $10,000 fund, not your wallet).
Thanks so much for your help BTB. Hope you and your familys have a happy new year, and GO COWBOYS!
PLEASE REC! BUMP! BUMP!

Pierre Thomas > Mike Bell?
OK Saints fans enlighten me.
I drafted Pierre expecting big things from him for my fantasy team, and so far he's done nothing but ride the pine with his knee issues. Then I pick up Bell on the waiver and now he's dinged up. What's the deal? Do we have any idea what kind of workload each back will get if all are healthy? Dare I drop Bell and pick up Knowshon Moreno who was dropped last week? I'd like to, but not if Bell is still going to see significant carries.
I doubt any of you have any definitive answers that will put me at ease here, but seriously, your RB's are driving me nuts. Help a brother out!
Thanks!
After being declared an every down player as a result of an excellent training camp, it now appears that Burnett will share time with Tim Dobbins at inside linebacker, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Burnett has struggled a bit out of the gate, and Dobbins has played well, so the Chargers are planning to use both players liberally. "I think it's pretty good," said head coach Norv Turner of the rotation. "Burnett plays an awful lot on special teams, Dobbins is a physical player. So it's something we'll continue to talk about."
All the links I can find for todays game
I'm lucky that I'm actually getting the game broadcast here in HD, but some of you good peoples out there won't be as fortunate, so I decided to make a link thread containing all my known resources of places you may be able to stream the game from. If you have links of your own please list them below as well.
First off here are the states that are actually broadcasting the game
http://www.the506.com/nflmaps/index.html
Here are the places that should be streaming this game and many others
http://www.justin.tv/directory/sports
I believe you need to sign up to view the streaming here but it's worth it.
http://www.cowboysconnection.org/index.php
A lot of the streams from the next link require 3rd party (free) software like TVAnts or SopCast
http://www.myp2p.eu/competition.php?competitionid=&part=sports&discipline=americanfootball
And when all else fails you can always view the play by play over at NFL.com. Just click on the game you want and you're all set.
Hope this helps, and again, please add links if you have additional ones. Happy new year! Go Cowboys!
Chris Henry / Carson Palmer & Fantasy Football
Hey there Bengal fans. I've got a couple of questions regarding Chris Henry and Carson Palmer.
First off, I'm aware that you acquired Coles probably with the expectation that he would fill that #2 WR spot this season. My question is, has Henry surpassed him during the off season? If not, do you expect him to in the near future? What kind of fantasy impact do you think he'll have this year?
Also, how is Palmer's health? is he going to end up a top 10 QB this season, or is will he be hampered by injuries all year?
Take a reasonable stab at both guys YDS/TD's by years end.
Thanks a lot for any help and good luck this season!
Backup center Duke Preston headed to Dallas
Looks like the Cowboys might have found their backup center. The team is expected to bring in veteran Duke Preston, an experienced backup center who spent the last four years in Buffalo, where he started 20 games, including 11 last year.
Who's getting the boot? Proctor?

Knowshon Moreno & Fantasy Football
Hey Denver fans! My FF draft is coming up in a couple weeks so I decided to come here to get some fans takes on what to expect from your rookie. First off, How has he been performing in training camp? Will he be starting? If so will he be in a rotation, or will he be getting the bulk of the load? What are your expectations for him this season? Running/Receiving Yards/TD predictions? How's his health? Any dings I should be aware of?
I'd really appreciate any insight you guys could offer up!
From a Cowboys fan perspective, I can tell you to keep an eye on Felix Jones and our 2nd year TE Martellus Bennett. Both are going to receive lots of play time and both should break out this year in a pretty big way. Dallas will be using a lot of 2 TE sets so watch for that tonight if you're able to get the game vs the Raiders. Bennett has easily been the most impressive TE in camp which is saying a LOT considering who our other TE is. Felix will probably get close to an even split with Barber if not a few more touches per game. He's also returning kicks and could break a couple for TD's this year which should increase his value.
Again, thanks for any help and good luck this season guys and gals, in fantasy and in the real games!
Hey Saints fans, I have a Fantasy Football related question for you
My draft is coming up shortly after the final preseason game so I thought I'd intrude and get some fans takes on how the Saints receiving crew is going to pan out.
Is this the year we're going to see Meachem start to take off? Is he a projected to finally start? Is Colston healthy and catching balls well again? What happens to Lance Moore?
If you had to set your WR depth chart what would it look like and predict (the best you can) what each receivers numbers will look like at seasons end. Please try to use your gut and not the homer portion for your brains.
Thanks a bunch and have a great season!
Bonus: What's up with the running game this season?
Cowboys Wallpapers
OK so I'm not writing much here, I really just wanted to establish a place where we can start posting any Cowboy related wallpapers and player photos that you've either found on the net, or made yourself. I'd like to keep it to higher quality stuff if possible but if you some cool photos of players that's not, I'm sure we'd love to see them.
If you need an image host to upload to, I recommend trying TinyPic. It's free and simple to use.
Here are some of my favorites that I've collected from various sites.
Note: Go to the directory in order to get the largest possible version of these images
Thanks to my buddy Groove for hosting these. You can find his website here but beware if you're at work as there are some woman wearing some pretty skimpy stuff. Also, here is the index for all the photos, I'll be updating it as I come across new stuff.
Hope you guys contribute, and GO COWBOYS!

Terry Glenn (An overdue and well deserved farewell)
Terry Glenn gave us several good years as a solid receiver and it seems to me he never got the proper farewell he deserved. To me it was a good decision not to keep him around any longer because of the bum knee, but the way it all ended was just a shame. When healthy, he was as good a #2 as you could ask for. I loved watching him smoke DB's and almost always making the catch with his sure hands. Farewell Terry, and thanks for all the great memories!

Talk about shooting yourself in the foot!
Well, it was his leg actually, but still..
The New York Giants wide receiver accidentally shot himself in the leg on Friday night, FOXSports.com has learned, not long after being ruled out of Sunday's game against the Redskins with a hamstring injury.
He's a Gnat but i still hope he's ok.
Brooks Bollinger? No Thanks!
After seeing Brad completey blow for the past 2 weeks we've been hit with all kinds of QB talk. Should we let Brad keep doing what he does? Should we get Bollinger in the starting line-up? Well after reviewing his stats you could make the case that Bollinger may be a slight upgrade over Brad. His mobility for one is quite a bit better. His acuracy can't be any worse, can it? People keep talking about Brads ball security, but frankly I don't see that either. It's a damn miracle we made it out of TB without a turnover.
Yet after I watched this video, there's no way I want Bollinger to be the guy.
I think it's time to find a legitimate back up. Both Brad and Bolinger blow. I know backups aren't a priority but there HAS to be something better. Hell, I think Bartel was a far better option than either of these guys.
Damn near teared up watching this
You've all seen it before. It's a good speech. But this time when I watched it, it actually hit me a lot harder than it ever has before. You'll know why after you watch, I think.
I just hope our team can find some form of inspiration that will keep them going 100% for the full 60 minutes of football this weekend. I BELIEVE!!!
C'MON COWBOYS!
Our new DB Daren Stone highlight Reel
I wouldn't call most of these plays highlights, but at least you can get an idea of how the kid plays. Turn the volume off because the music gets unbelievably annoying. You've been warned.

A nice Q&A with our new OG Montrae Holland
It's from last year but I'm sure it'll be new for most Cowboy fans. I kinda like having the inside scoop on our players and thought you guys might too.
Dallas Morning News looks to Football Outsiders for answers
Best idea DMN has come up with in some time. Football Outsiders is a great site that goes beyond the norm. Interesting to me what they came up with regarding Roy and his play last year. Also, it's fantastic to hear what Pac is capable of, I know we all think he can be great but this just goes to prove it. Now let's just hope he gets reinstated and stays that way. There's plenty more so go check it out.

Notes:
The offense was easy for me, It's pretty obvious who's making the team on that side. Amendola to me at this point is a no brainer but probably not for some. I almost considered giving James Marten the boot to make room for Walden but I'm pretty sure they'll want that extra G/T around.
Defense was a little harder. S and OLB was where I got a bit hung up. It basically came down to keeping Dowayne Davis or Erik Walden. I think a guy like Walden would be easier to keep on the practice squad than a guy like Dowayne Davis. While I think Walden has potential, I think Dowayne will have a bigger immediate impact. To me the bubble guys that would get claimed right away if we didn't put them on the roster are D.Davis and D.Amendola.
Anyone think Erik Walden can beat out Justin Rogers in the preseason? Hmmm...
Hard Knocks Schedule, Mark Your CalendarsBoys!
I'm not sure they could have picked a better year to give us an inside look at our beloved Boys. With all the talent we have there should be some pretty impressive and intense battles to be had and at several positions too!

This is very important information about our favorite team that you will not find anywhere else. Enjoy??
A couple of thoughts on the rookies
I love this kids attitude. He seems to be very humble almost to the point of quietness. You want him to talk? He'll explain everything you want to know on the field. I really do like the kids game but I have to admit it took me some time to settle into this pick @22. Reggie Bush keeps crossing my mind when talking about Felix.. I'll let you decide if that's a good or bad thing.
Before the draft he was one of the top CB's on my list (#2) and to see him fall all the way to #25 was just awesome. In my mind I was comparing him to TNEW with his speed and ability to leech onto his opponent. Rookie camp kinda jaded that comparison a little for me, but I really do think with some coaching that comparison will stick. I loved this pick.
I was a little confused at this pick at first. Tight end?? I know we just traded Fasano but I'm pretty sure we have a guy named Jason Witten who as I recall was, uhhhh, prettyy good. Then we have that other guy (Tony Curtis) who refuses to do anything but catch TD's. It didn't take me long after learning this guys size and athletic ability to really like this pick. Him having super powers is definitely a plus too. I am quite excited to see him play.
What's not to like about a natural leader who can inspire and be productive in the running and passing game? This kid WILL produce, bet on it.
This kid is slowly becoming one of my favorite picks in the draft. He's extremely fast and apparently can cover like my favorite Cowboys blanket. Granted all the hype on him comes from covering young, unestablished receivers. Still this kid has mad potential and I'll be pulling for him in a major way. On top of being able to cover well, I fully expect to see this kid get a few sacks this year rushing off the edge. Hopefully he'll block some kicks too.
I haven't a clue.. Has anyone watched him play? Someone enlighten me on this guy.
_________________________________________________________________
As for the undrafted guys we've snagged..
I can certainly see why this kid gets the Wes Welker comparisons. They both come from the same school (Texas Tech), have similar size and speed. Both are extremely quick and tough to cover. I'm pretty excited to see what he can do in training camp. Can he separate from the likes of TNEW, Ant Henry, and the PAC? We shall see, we shall see.
I have to go to work so I'll cut this a bit short by saying I'm not mad at all about not drafting a receiver. There were a couple in this draft that I really did like and am confident will become good players in the NFL, but I agree with the decision to not take one with one our top picks. We had much greater needs and I think we took care of those needs quite well. With that being said, I am extremely anxious to see a few of the rookies as well as a couple of last years rookies battle it out at training camp. Daniel Polk, Danny Amendola, Mark Bradford, Joe West, Isaiah Stanback, and Mike Jefferson. I'm pretty sure Sam Hurd is a lock to make the team but Miles Austin better bring his A-game or he may find himself in Miami swimming with the Tuna.
May an epic training camp battle be had, and here's to finding one or more diamonds in the rough!
Jenkins -vs- Scandrick
OK so let's say Scandrick proves to be the overall better corner of the 2 from this years draft. Since 1st rounders get paid the big bucks, will that automatically make him the 3rd corner? I'd like to think not, but it would be a bit strange seeing our 5th rounder playing in front of our 1st rounder. Roy Williams comes to mind.... What say you BTB brothers?
Ex-Miner receiver (Joe West) to sign as free agent with Cowboys
There's gonna be quite the receiver battle going on this training camp. Hope I can come out for a weekend and watch :)
