Jon Beason a CSR reader

on his Facebook scroll down and he shares the link to one of Jaxon's stories. He also commented on it and said "We are not weak at the DT position...look at the added depth got some big bodies more than able to stuff some lanes" I found it pretty cool, so I figured I would share it with you guys.

"Panthers coach Ron Rivera says Luke Kuechly will begin at weakside linebacker. Jon Beason will start at middle linebacker but will play on the outside too. Kuechly lined up in middle and weak side today at minicamp."

Panthers Visit Coples at UNC

A very interesting article that says Ron Rivera and Marty Hurney were in Chapel Hill on Monday to visit with Coples. The last time they went to go visit a player was last year to see Cam Newton in Atlanta. Thoughts?

Janoris Jenkins admits that he continued to smoke at North Alabama

I was hoping he would drop to us in the 2nd round, and he could prove to Hurney that he learned from his mistakes. Boy was I wrong, there is no chance we take him.

Nike plans to unveil their new uniforms for all 32 teams in New York City tomorrow at 11 A.M. I don't expect to see to much changes, but I'm excited to see what they will look like. What about you guys?

McShay Mock Draft 4.0

10

In this draft he has Carolina taking Dontari Poe at #9, and Janoris Jenkins at #40. I'm not a big fan of Poe, I still think he is a better fit for a 3-4 defense. I would much rather take a pass-rusher such as Coples or Ingram. But I love the Jenkins pick, I think he is the 2nd best corner in this draft behind Claiborne. If he drops this far due to his off-field issues I would be thrilled, he is an amazing talent. He also has TB taking Trent Richardson at #5, and Zach Brown at #36. Also he has Atlanta taking Vinny Curry at #55. Lastly he has the Saints taking... oh wait never mind...

Panthers Sign Veteran Offensive Guard

+

Panthers Twitter "Pollak, 27, was drafted by the Colts in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He made the NFL All-Rookie team as a right guard." "GM Marty Hurney on Pollak: 'Mike is a very physical, smart, experienced veteran guard who will come in and compete for a starting position.' "

Panthers: Mike Tolbert at fullback

4

This article shoots down any speculation that Williams or Stewart are going to be on the trading block. Hurney brought him in because he is a very dynamic and versatile fullback, and he can be another weapon for Chud.

Matt Flynn to Seattle

The contract is for 3 years and $26 million; with $10 million guaranteed.
