On my way to work this morning i saw this new Angels Billboard  This one is at the 405/110 interchange. I can only imagine all the angry Dodgers fans faces as they drive by that billboard everyday. It's nice to see Arte is still pushing his brand north. Has anyone seen any other Angels billboards in LA? I imagine they will start to put some all star related billboards up soon. via photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net.

I was reading the truth and rumors section of CNN.com/sports. They had a little article about the chances of the Angels landing Chapman.  After they article a few people left some comments.  One person with the screen name ALACRAN really hates our GM.  I listed below his comments.  Do you guys agree? and do you think he is on Halos Heaven under a different screen name.

1.well if the angels are able to sign this guy it will be the big boost for their rotation! after all they didn't sign # one pitcher, all because they are too slow to make choices,but most of the blame it falls on that gm!! just useless!!!!!!!

2. i know this angels,first they have to get rid off that gm, second they need to start resigning those players that they only paying them what 400,00 pr season? and if! only if they are able to sign this guy chapman and hope they do, and become a # two starter, lets just hope that they sign him for 3 years at least!!!!!!

So as Christmas Eve tradition my friends and I  all went to the goat hill tavern in costa mesa and who do we see there but the traitor john lackey and you know what we did nothing.  I am home now and feel like an asshole.  did i blow it or did i do the right thing.

As we talked trash on John the bartender told us he is friends with john and that the angels only offered him 4 years 60 million and  he had ninety minutes to decide.  i call bullshit.

so again did i blow it by not saying something to him.

his wife and dad were there and both had Boston jackets on....i am fucking freaking out.

i know some people may think this is a bs story but it is true.  John and a number of Angels go to the Goat hill.

Why did the Angels come up with a goose egg this off season?  We have the money we have the prospects.  Do people not want to play in Anaheim? I don't understand how we can let teams get better all around us while we settle for an old DH to replace an old DH.  Am I overreacting?  Are there still plenty of guys to sign?  Someone please try and cheer me up.  I am usually a glass half full kind of guy but today has really got me down.

So after trying to fill some word on a post i made a couple of days ago i gave a quick surf report.  A couple people liked it so i thought i would give you another.

Toady's surf report report is taken from my home break River Jetty's in Newport Beach at 6:45am.

The surf was a southern hemisphere swell around 2-3 foot occasional head high sets decent shape and very little wind. the water temp seemed to be around 66 the outside air temp was 61 according to my car.

It was a really fun session not crowded and the water temp is still nice.

I hope everyone enjoyed this and remember your never to old to surf..unless you are from the 909 (sorry had to say it).

I want to remind all the Frankie haters out there what the Angels bullpen looks like without him.  All he did for the Angels was set a single season record for saves and help the Angels win there only World Series. So as I start to read posts demanding that we get rid of Howie and bring in someone from the Bees I just want to say...... be careful what you wish for

i have listed a link below to an article about the Angels and possible trades from fox sports .  not sure how i feel about this.  i know we need a little help but i hate to trade away our future.  i have no problem getting rid of Gary Matthews but i feel we should not give up on our young guys.

I think it is total BS that people on this site continue to call Scioscia (soth).  He his the Angeles winningest coach including a World Series.  Do you think any other coach would have his team in firsat place when there two best pitchers are on the DL there best hitter was batting 250 and every other day another player was placed on the disabled list.  I think not.  The dude can flat out coach.....so show the guy some fucking respect.

i guess some teams arent playing take me out to the ballgame during the seventh inning stretch...so i am asking what would you want to hear?  feel free to put more then one song.  or if you think that we should never change the song then feel free to say that.

After going to the game last night i saw people clutching on to there bobble heads like they were gold.  I was curious what everyone out in angel land was going to do with the bobble heads. I figured alot of people would wake up the next morning and laugh and just toss it in the trash.   As for me it looks perfect on my desk in my office...so all the dodger fans can come in and see what could have been.
