Traveling to Miami for a game
Hey fellas, does anyone have any suggestions to traveling to Miami as far as hotels. I am planning on going with my girlfriend for a long weekend so a nice place near the beach, shopping, perhaps a shuttle to the stadium, etc. Also something that lands in 3/4 star range as far as hotels. Also are there any direct lines to/from the stadium? If anyone has any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
Anyone still breathing a sigh of relief?
As much as i'm happy that were 2-0 and both victories we earned and were winning most of both games regardless of the score, does anyone else still feel that there is something this team is missing? NOTE: I am extremely proud of how our team won and am in no way trying to tarnish our wins.
After the first play of the game we opened up the entire field with that deep ball to Marshall and guess what? We walked away with 7 points on the board. Now i know most of it was from the completion of that pass but our running game was highly effective on that drive and the few drives to come. We must keep trying to stretch the field for us to beat any of the top tier teams.
Mistakes aside and as well as our defense played and how often we were on the right side of big plays, our offense needs to stretch the field more often. Henning is really hurting us with his play calling and if only to just stretch the field to just stretch the field (i feel pretty confident with any 1on1 coverage B.Marshall can out jump anyone in this league and deflect bad throws) and open up lanes for our potent running game. So lets open up the offense a little bit because these 14 point heart attack games are gonna shorten my lifespan by years, along with losing us some games we should be winning by 20 points.
In short... NOTE TO DAN HENNING GET THE BALL DOWN THE FIELD. THANKS.

S.Smith as a FS?
There has been numerous analysts that stated that S.Smith would eventually have to move to safety because of his size. Belive me i understand how young Smith is but with Will Allen and Vontae on the roster how impractical could it be to move Smith back to FS and utilize all the talent on the roster.
I know we all tend to vision the two young guys like the next Madison and Surtain but we gotta remember how important it was to have a guy like Brock Marion back there to protect the deep ball. This isn't outta nowhere Smith did play FS at Utah and has the size and playmaking ability to play centerfield.
Even if it takes him a year to get the position down, thats a still long tenure that he could have roaming back there plus the shelf life for free safeties are much longer then those of CB, ie Darren Sharper. I know how its not the most practical decision but one that could be a possibility.
We should look into getting...
a change of pace back. Im lookin at Sproles, Bradshaw, Washington, etc and i think with our punishing running game with R%R, Hilliard, Polite, a good change of pace back would be deadly in this offense. Kinda like what we looked at getting when we drafted, Travis Minor or Lorenzo Booker, but those kinds of backs who can open up a game.
Ive just noticed how Ricky and Ronnie dont have that explosion in the 2nd level and after a good 3 Quarters of running it down their throat, then hit him with a Leon Washington type. oh boy, fireworks.
Time for some youth?
With Will Allen going down for the year, Vontae and S.Smith will obviously be the 1 and 2 CB's barring injury, but in the past few games (the saints and jets notably) has anyone felt like Porter and JT are just not getting it done? How is Wake not getting more reps? Understandably his sample size is small, but its pretty damn impressive. Somethings gotta change because when the game is on the line this team constantly buckles late and lets teams just will thier way back into games with no resistance, ie. Colts, Saints, Jets. The pot needs to be stirred and there is no way im saying we just give up or bench Peezy or JT, but get these youngin some reps.
Id just like to see guys like Wake and Walden get some reps, it just doesnt seem like peezy and JT are hungry for it right now.
