Minor League Ball personal scouting of pro scout or number crunching

Everytime i read a post on any subject on this site. It is the same debate. Numbers versus scouting reports. The scouting report guys claim that the numbers part of scouting is overrated. The number crunching guys think the visual scouting of guys is overrated. Both visual scouting and number crunching scouting are needed tools to correctly evaluate players. Which is more important? I have my own thoughts, but for sake of discussion i do not want to sway the argument either way. I would like you to post your thoughts, along with a percentige of what you think is more important. Is it 70
numbers/ 30visual, 50 numbers/50 visual or 30 numbers/70 visual. You can use any percentiges you want. However i think it is important to put some percentiges down so people know which side of the argument your on and how strongly you feel about it. Like i said. I have my own thoughts, but this argument might help sway me and others on this sight. So, take the gloves off.( and lets get ready to rumbleeee!)

Minor League Ball Tim Beckham star or good

I have been reading everything i can find on beckham and after a year and a half of studying i cannot get a good read on his talent level speed wise as it pertains to steals. What does the community think. They compare him to barry larkin. Barry Larkin stole 50 bases. From what i have read i get conflicting reports on his speed. Some say his stealing potential is 30+. Some make it sound like he will be lucky to steal 15. I have read all the top publications. I do not need quotes from baseball america or any of the other top ones. I need someone who knows about basestealing who has seen him in person to help me out. thanx.

Minor League Ball Top Ten High End

If you were to take the top ten hitters from last years amateur  draft and rank them not based on how good  a pick they would be for a baseball team.  Instead rank them for fantasy high end. Take away the negatives. Pedro Alvarez isn't fat and all the hitters stay at their current positions and play decent enough defense to stay in the lineup. High end, they all reach full potential, how would you rank them. Here is my list.

 1.3b-Pedro Alvarez

 2.1b-Eric Hosmer

 3.1b-Justin Smoak

 4.of-Aaron Hicks

 5.ss-Tim Beckham

 6. c-Brett Lawrie

 7. c-Kyle Skipworth

 8.ss-Gordon Beckham

 9. c-Buster Posey

10.1b-Yonder Alonso

Thought about Anthony Hewitt. But did't want to reach to far. I Should be shot for not having Brett Wallace on the list. Not looking to argue want positive projections. Thank You.
