Born in Alvin, TX (first astros game in 1979- madly in love as a little girl with Nolan Ryan)...moved to Weir, MS when I was 6. ridiculously crazy MSU alumni and fan...was a MSU Baseball addict throughout my childhood and college...never thought that someone I went to school with for 12 years, my friend, Roy Oswalt would get drafted by the MLB...and actually make the team...it all seemed like a dream- girl is fan of a horrible team her life, and then her classmate pitches team into world series.

Moved to Washington, DC...my friend Bulldog is a lifelong Mets fan...used to drag me to mets game, mets and astros games, promises of beer- or JETS games would get me to sit through a METS game...and then when I went to see Roy pitch against John Maine for the first time--I fell in love with Shea and the mets fans...suddenly, I had to rationalize my two team fandom to myself...and I feel that I can be a crazy fan of two teams...Astros in my heart and Mets in my geographic area...my dream would be to have them play each other in the NLCS..and also my worst nightmare!

Bottom line- I don't sleep well at night after the METS lose...Astros losses aren't as devestating to me anymore...but I always watch Roy pitch. Always.
