Over the Monster Game 3

Don't give up yet, I think we all know what everyone's thinking about the red sox, they're down 2-0. So what, we've come back before in much harded situations. This will also be a real test for Bucholz seeing how he handles the post season. The sox will get some time to think it over today and they'll come out tomorow and win it. With the sox it's never over.

Over the Monster Beckett and Bucholz

Beckett hasn't been performing well in his past couple of starts. He's having the same problem he did in April. He's leaving the ball up in the zone. He's still getting K's but he has now given up 14 home runs in his last 5 starts. He'll bounce back this month and he'll be ready for soxtober. Bucholz has pitched great in his last couple of starts, we just need him to continue that way and our pitching staff will be much improved.

Over the Monster Explanation

Can anybody think of a reason why Francona put in Bucholz to pinch run? A  pitcher? A guy with hardly any baserunning experience? Not only did Bucholz not score, but he also slowed down the runner right behind him which was Ellsbury, and he could of been the go-ahead run. Yes they won the game, but Tito almost lost it for them. Luckily Martinez came through with that big hit they needed. Anyway, I'm still wondering what was going through Terry's head when he made that decision.

Over the Monster Woken up yet?

Today's game was interesting. First of all Youkilis charging the mound fired sox fans and the team. Even though he was ejected (and will probably be suspended) Lowell did his job stepping up and hitting 2 home runs. Jason Bay also has now hit 2 home runs in 2 games. His bat may be starting to come alive after his month and a half slump. This is a good opportunity for the sox to use this as a spark for their offense to get going, and their mental aspect.

Over the Monster pedroia's lousy swing

i cant stand watching pedroia hit anymore, yes hes the reining MVP and rookie of the year and one of the most loved players out there, but this guy needs work, first of all, he needs to get up to the plate about 1 foot cuz hes missing the outside pitch, second of all he takes every first pitch for some reason, next, he swings at bad pitches and gets behind in the count early, he also takes that huge violent swing, his strikeout numbers have gone up since last year, i know it sounds crazy, but they have to start thinking about getting someone at 2nd base that will hit consistently
