I’m a Senior at Penn State University-Main Campus currently majoring in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Engineering Leadership Development (shout out to Dr. Rick Schuhmann). I’m involved in THON, and have been on Morale committees all 3 years I’ve been in school. Many of my hobbies revolve around music. I’m a member of The Pennharmonics (Bass) and I’ve played guitar for about 10 years. I play some piano, harmonica and various other instruments too. I’m a huge sports fan. I've seen Stairs in a few press conferences sporting a Penn State Nittany Lions hat. I was wondering what his connection to PSU was? Anybody got a clue?

NL Outfield Starters

Since Ibanez is likely to play if he gets a few starts in against the Pirates this series, I have a question about positions. All indications I've read everywhere read that Ryan Braun will start in left field. Since Ibanez and Braun are both left fielders, shouldn't the one with more votes start at his actual position (i.e. Ibanez) ??? Or is this a seniority thing where Braun has more ASG appearances (although Raul is 12 years his senior...) so Braun's experience allows him to pick?

Any insight would be helpful here guys, Thanks

BJ Ryan Released

BJ Ryan was just released by the Jays. Guess they won't try to package him and his 12 million dollar salary with the Doc anywhere. Anybody think he can stay healthy the rest of the year? I'm sure someone will pick him up given time, though probably not as a closer. Maybe a set up man somewhere?
