Hogs Haven Why the Redskins should sign Manning and draft RG3?

Peyton Manning signing can bring other notable free agents like Carl Nicks, Mario Williams, Dwayne Bowe, and Vincent Jackson.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported:

"Manning is completely open to creating a contract in which he would be paid little or no guaranteed money up front and he would have to earn every cent he makes strictly through performance, according to sources."

The Redskins have nothing to lose. They can sign Manning to a reasonable contract and also can draft a QB and have him sit for one or two years while he learns under one of the greatest players in the history of football. What better quarterback to draft than Robert Griffin III.

The Redskins should give up the picks needed to get RG3. He can learn under Manning just like Aaron Rodgers learned under Brett Favre.

The Redskins could then challenge for a playoff spot. Most of the Redskins games against teams in the playoffs were close, and they swept the Super Bowl champions??? A quarterback is what the Redskins desperately need and signing Manning if release and healthy gives them a top NFL quarterback who’s ready to play, and drafting Robert Griffin gives the Redskins their quarterback of the future.

Hogs Haven Andrew Luck vs Robert Griffin III

Arm strength

Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin both have great arms and can make all the throws on the field. But Luck playing in a pro-style offensive like seen in the NFL can put the zip on his passes while throwing downfield or across his body.

Edge: Luck

Intelligence:

Both of these quarterbacks are extremely intelligent and can make the right calls. They are can both be considered the smartest quarterbacks to come into the draft since Peyton Manning. Remember I said smartest! Griffin has completed 72.4 percent of his passes with only 6 interceptions and Luck has completed 70 percent of his passes with 9 interceptions. Luck will graduate a year ahead of his expected graduation date and Griffin has already graduated with a degree in Political Science (Honors: Magna Cum Laude) and is currently studying for a Masters in Communications. Even though Griffin plays in more of a spread offense and the coordinators upstairs is reading the defense, Griffin still has the intelligence and the football smarts to match Luck in the NFL.

Edge: Tie

Scrambling Ability

Robert Griffin is being compared to Michael Vick but with accuracy while Andrew Luck is being compared to Peyton Manning but with speed. Griffin as a member of Baylor track team has finished first in the 400-meter hurdles at both the Big 12 conference Championship and the NCAA Midwest Regional Championship meet; he also broke the NCAA Midwest Regional 400-meter hurdle record.

Edge: Griffin

Intangibles

Both Luck and Griffin have the leadership that you look at in a quarterback. Luck is more vocal than Griffin only because he plays in a Pro-Style offense and is the one changing the plays at the line of scrimmage. Luck leadership and desire to help Stanford win sets him apart from other college quarterbacks.

Edge: Luck

Overall Overall there is a reason that Andrew Luck was expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in last year’s draft. Most college quarterbacks lack the football knowledge you need to be successful in the NFL. Luck is a smart quarterback who can change a game and is a highly accurate passer. I would say that I would pick the 2011 Robert Griffin over the 2010 Cam Newton. Cam Newton is a great player, but cannot match the speed and accuracy of Griffin. Both Luck and Griffin are everything you look for in a franchise quarterback. I feel that the only downfall with Robert Griffin is that he plays in a spread offense. Since Luck plays in a pro-style offense you can say that Luck is better. However, it’s also safe to say anything Andrew Luck can do Robert Griffin III can do if given the opportunity.

Edge: ?

(Note that Some NFL scouts have Griffin over Luck)

Hogs Haven What if Beck is the answer

When Mike Shanahan gave the thought of John Beck starting for the Redskins all I can say was wtf is he thinking. Then I said to myself is Shanahan trying to tank the season to draft Andrew Luck? Since free agency started the Redskins has done more than enough to not have the worst record in the NFL.. On the other hand teams like the Browns and Bills haven't done much in free agency in order to draft Andrew Luck or Matt Barkley.. So does Shanahan really think Beck is the answer? What if he is? We all will be in disbelief.. Fans is Beck actually the answer at Quarterback? And will the Redskins be horrible enough to get one of the top 3 picks in order to draft Andrew Luck or Matt Barkley in 2012?

Hogs Haven Redskins Possible Trade with Titans

Redskins trade Donovan McNabb, Albert Haynesworth, and their second round pick for Tennessee Titans 8th overall. Makes since for both team because, both McNabb and Haynesworth wants out of Washington. The Titans are projected to take Nick Fairley with their 8th pick. Getting Haynesworth back and a veteran quarterback in McNabb will improve their team. They would then have two second round picks were they can draft a quarterback like Ryan Mallett or Christian Ponder to groom; and then have the option to draft a cornerback or wide receiver with their other second round pick. The Redskins could use the 8th and 10th pick to draft Patrick Peterson, A.J. Green, Julio Jones, Cam Newton, Jake Locker, or the best player available; but this trade has to be done on draft day depending on how the first 7 picks plays out.. Both teams will come out happy in this trade. Somebody tell the Redskins front office to make this happen.

Fans how do you feel about this trade?

Hogs Haven Important Draft Facts

It’s safe to say this year draft will be a surprise. Names like A.J. Green, Von Miller, and yes Patrick Peterson can all slide down to the 10th pick in the draft. Names like Cam Newton, Blaine Gabbert, Robert Quinn, and Tyron Smith can all get pick as high as 7. But who will Carolina pick with the first pick? We have heard Da'Quan Bowers, Nick Fairley, A.J. Green, Cam Newton, etc, etc…

It’s safe to say that the Redskins will take the best available player at 10.

If it’s Cam Newton, Blaine Gabbert, Nick Fairley, A.J. Green, or Patrick Peterson, or who ever.

My dream pick at 10:

I hope that Patrick Peterson will fall to the 10th pick, which is unlikely, but you will never know. If so Carlos Rogers it’s time to go. Rogers is just an average corner. If he can catch a football, he would be a better player.  Arguably the best player in the draft A.J. Green is likely to fall to the Redskins at 10.

Dontay Moch

The Redskins need a pass rusher…

Dontay Moch an outside linebacker and defensive end can be the pass rusher that the Redskins are looking for. He is a great pick because of his speed. Moch, 6'1", 245 pounds, ran a 40-yard dash in 4.2 seconds, which was after he had run a 4.08 and 4.18 for NFL scouts. The scouts purportedly did not believe their stopwatches so they asked Moch to run again and he recorded the 4.2."He has freakish talent," Nevada defensive coordinator Andy Buh said. When he puts his mind to it, he's unstoppable."At the 2011 NFL Combine, Moch ran a 4.44 sec 40-yard dash, best among all linebackers and defensive linemen. He can go anywhere from the late second to fourth round.

Hogs Haven What to look foward to next season

Anthony Bryant, can he become a starter at the Nose Tackle?

Bryant has become a beast the last two games at Nose Tackle. Within the last two games Bryant has played better than Maake Kemoeatu could ever play this season.

Ryan Torain, will he be the starter at Running Back?

Torain drafted by Shanahan in Denver has become a great addition to the team at the running back position. Clinton Portis has had been plagued by injury again and can be on his way out of DC.

Kevin Barnes, can he play Safety?

Barnes has showed that he can play safety. In opinion the free safety position is still up for grab. Why not start him along side Laron Landry?

Santana Moss, will he be back?

Moss is in the last year of his contact. The Redskins should resign him and needs to upgrade the position by adding another big time threat. Redskins can draft a WR or pick up one through free agent.

Who will be the Quarterback next season?

With McNabb being benched he is unlikely to come back next season. Rex Grossman in the last three games has played good, but he is not the quarterback of the future. Redskins must draft a quarterback. Cam Newton is the best quarterback to run Shanahan offense. Will the Redskins trade up to get him?

Hogs Haven Did Redskins really pass MOSS

21 teams including the Redskins passed on the chance to bring Randy Moss onto their team...

The Tennesse Titans who was the 22 team on the list claimed the former Minnesota Vikings recevier

on waivers.

What was the Redskins thinking by not puting in a claim for Moss.. McNabb is already out the door after this season because the benching and Randy Moss could of saved the season for the Washington Redskins and McNabb could of considered staying after this year. NOW WHATS NEXT????

Can anybody tell me when (as in what day) will the Redskins be able to claim Randy Moss

Their are 14 teams before us that can claim Moss, but when do the Redskins have a chance to claim him...do we have to wait until each of these teams say NO...HOW DOES THIS WORK?????

Hogs Haven Redskins Release Colt Brennan

The Redskins have released quarterback Colt Brennan, the team announced on Monday.

Brennan’s release comes on the heels of the Redskins’ acquisition of quarterback John Beck from the Baltimore Ravens.

After a record-setting college career at Hawaii, the Redskins drafted Brennan in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL draft. Brennan become among the team's most popular players after  an impressive preseason that year but never got into a regular-season game.

How do you feel about Colt Brennan release???? Is John Beck better than Breannan???????

Hogs Haven Haynesworth Conditioning Test

There’s an argument being advanced that the Redskins should relent. That Mike Shanahan should back off and let Albert Haynesworth be.

Why should Haynesworth be held to a different standard? Why should he have to pass a conditioning test when no other player is asked to do so at training camp?

This is what the critics want to know, says Larry Weisman.

Haynesworth is the only Redskins player required to take the test because he missed the team's entire offseason conditioning program.

The test consists of two 300 yards sprints, with only a 3½-minute break in between. Haynesworth have to run the first shuttle in 70 seconds and the second one in 73 seconds. This test is not easy at all...and now this is not about Albert Haynesworth being in shape! To me he is in shape... The first day of Camp, he ran the 300 yard sprint in time, but running it again is just showing that Mike Shanahan is just trying prove something. He is trying teach Haynesworth a lesson, that is not goin solve anything in my opinion. If he doesnt ever make it, whats goin happen? Is he not goin play? Can any other linemen pass this conditioning test ?

Hogs Haven Others Beef up, while AH Loses! Must READ Post!!!!

We all know Albert Haynesworth has lost 32 pounds. At the start of last season he was 350 pounds, and after he went up to 362 pounds. Now he weighs 330 pounds! But what I want to talk about are the players who gain weight and your thoughts on these weight changes, and how they can better this team!

Nose Tackle is an important position on this Team, and we all know Albert Haynesworth is (NO) Nose Tackle! He is not a Space Eater, he's a Playmaker and a 2x Pro Bowl Player! We all know this is True as well as the real reason why he's mad! He would of never came to the Redskins if he knew they was goin switch to a 3-4. This is really Daniel Snyder fault. Its his mistake because he lied to Haynesworth and Haynesworth has a RIGHT to be mad, but he's going about it the Wrong way......

But for Nose Tackles

Anthony Bryant was 337, now he's 376!

Green Howard was 320, now he's 365!

Maake Kemoeatu was 345, now he's 364!

Defensive End

Adam Carriker was 296, now he's 311!

A lot of players have gain weight, but these are the post noticeable!

How do you feel about the weight change???

And if Haynesworth comes to Training Camp with the right attitude and ready to become part of this team, then line him up at Right DE and Adam Carriker should start at Left DE, over Phillip Daniels? because to me he is better than him..And you can pick between Anthony Bryant, Green Howard, Maake Kemoeatu to play Nose Tackle (We can rotate all 3 of them)...Lets GO REDSKINS!!!!!!!!!!

This is a GOOD POST :-)

Hogs Haven Update 6/16 Haynesworth Will Skip Minicamp; Demands Trade

6/15/10 Tuesday

Pro Bowl defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, who skipped the Redskins' voluntary workout program in protest of his new role on the team, will not attend the mandatory minicamp that begins Wednesday and wants to be traded, his agent said Tuesday night.

Despite conflicts over Haynesworth's role in the new defense, Speck said Haynesworth's desire to leave Washington after only one season is rooted more in his belief that he was lied to from the beginning of his relationship with the team. Snyder led the Redskins' pursuit of Haynesworth, according to people in the organization at the time, assuring Haynesworth he would be allowed to play aggressively.  (Jason Reid, Washington Post)

How do you feel about this???

Hogs Haven LeBron James to Washington(Comments Everybody)

The Washington Redskins and Wizards are the two teams that should sign LeBron James....... Please Read the whole Post, since your Here!!!

The Redskins will a get a big and athletic wide receiver, who's 6'8, 250 pounds, and runs a 4.4 forty. He will be a great addition to Donovan McNabb! :-)

The Washington Wizards will get the best player in Basketball. They also have the first pick in the NBA Draft, and should draft John Wall who is a great and unselfish player. Some sports analysts has said that Wall truly is a better NBA player than Derrick Rose. John Wall is also a great friend of LeBron James. James met Wall a couple of years ago at the LeBron James Skills Academy in Akron, which is a star showcase that Nike runs at University of Akron every July. Since then he has developed a personal relationship with John Wall. They keep in touch a lot and LeBron has also came to support Wall in college.

People said if the Nets win the lottery, LeBron will go to New Jersey, because of his friendship with John Wall. But with the Wizards winning the lottery does LeBron still go to the team thats drafts his friend John Wall. Washington already has a scorer in Gilbert Arenas, who averaged 22 points and 7 assist before his suspension. Lets not talk about his locker-room shenanigans with firearms, that is of the past. He can score with the best of them and Lebron also wants to play with another scorer. But some say the NBA Lottery could mean the End of Gilbert Arenas in Washington. Arenas is more than a scorer than actual point gaurd, so if the Wizards choose to keep both, Gilbert will probably slide over to the two spot. Gilbert was never a point guard in high school or college and he has not been a true point in the NBA. They also need a new face to their franchise with Gilbert bringing guns to the locker room, and John Wall and LeBron James can both be that player. What ever you say bad about Gilbert at the the end of the day Agent Zero is an All-star.

By Michael Abramowitz, Washington Post writes...

Picture it: the opening home game of the Wizards' 2010-2011 season. Tied score, fourth quarter. Rookie point guard and top draft pick John Wall snags a rebound and races out on a fast break, whipping the ball to Gilbert Arenas for a jumper from the corner. Gilbert -- in his rehabilitated, unselfish and unarmed incarnation -- takes a quick look at the basket but pump-fakes, freezes a defender and instead feeds the ball to the Wizards' glorious new small forward trailing down the middle, who takes off from the free-throw stripe for an insane, jaw-dropping dunk.

Even Miss Cleo the Psychic has Lebron going to the Washington Wizards. Why not have LeBron in Washington, DC, the Nations Capital. Washington is clearly the place to be for any global icon!!! We would have some the best players in sports as a whole in one City. Donovan McNabb, Alex Ovechkin, and Lebron James, along side President Barack Obama to headline the stars and important figures in Washington, DC.

What do you think about either Washington team signing Lebron James, Wizards drafting John Wall, or keeping Gilbert Arenas in a Wizards Jersey???

Hogs Haven Devin Thomas & Malcolm Kelly???

Everybody is talking about how the Redskins need a veteran receiver or a top elite receiver. We all heard Terrell Owens to Washington, Brandon Marshall to Washington, and now people asking should the Redskins trade for Andre Johnson...

My answer is NO! Why TRADE any more picks for a receiver thats worth a first round pick or 2 second round picks??? We have our receivers and tight ends....

Joey Galloway is our veteran receiver, no need to get another one.

Santana Moss is still a deep threat and last year he led the team with 902 yards, and has been leading all receivers in yards since he came in 2005.

Chris Cooley is everbody's favorite player, or atleast he was until you all started the lets trade Cooley Chants. Since 2005 Cooley has been a top 10, if not a top 5 Tight End in the league. Check his stats! He gets hurt and you people think he has nothing left in the tank. He could easily be Donovan McNabb number 1 target this year. You can always count on Cooley if the WR are not doing their jobs.

Fred Davis really helped the Redskins during last season and out of top 3 draft picks in 2008, he has played the best in his short 2 year career. Last year he led the Redskins in Touchdowns! But is he better than Cooley? I dont think So....

Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly two of the top Receivers in the 2008 Draft. Devin Thomas was concidered 1 or 2 on people draft boards, while Malcolm Kelly was considered 3 to 5 on draft boards. The Redskins get two of the best Receivers in the second round of the 2008 NFL draft. Since joining the Redskins they have not lived up to expectations. They did OK in their second year. They both had 25 Receptions and both started 10 games. Kelly had 347 yards and Thomas had 325. Thomas played better and took the starting job from Kelly, after Kelly took it away from Antwaan Randle El. Thomas had 3 Touchdowns and Kelly had 0. Kelly is said to have the best hands on the team and Thomas is said to be most athletic Receiver. Both players can be your Brandon Marshall and Andre Johnson, and with McNabb as QB they will both have a break out year and are the future Receivers of this team. Why pick up another WR that will take from both Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly? They both need to be on the field to improve rather than standing on the sideline... Donovan McNabb is what both of this young receivers needed and Joey Galloway is the veteran receiver that they can learn from.

How do you feel about our Receivers and these FanPost???

And I really wish that we had picked Bruce Campbell. Heard he has been switched to guard. Trent Williams is our Future Left Tackle and Selvish Capers will be a starter at Right Tackle in a few years from now. But Bruce Campbell could of been our future Guard, lined up next to Trent Williams on that left side. That would of been crazy. Both runs a 4.8......

Hogs Haven Who Starts At Free Safety???(Comments)???

With LaRon Landry moving back to Strong Safety, who will become the next Free Safety for the Redskins. Landry is the best safety we have, but would be better suited at the Strong Safety position.

My candidates for Free Safety includes:

Chris Horton 6-1, 211: Is a Great player who had a great rookie season in 08 and started 10 out of 14 games. He leads all safeties in interceptions with 3, along with LaRon who also has 3.

Kareem Moore 5-11, 218: Started with the first team doing the second mini-camp, and is more of a Free Safety then the rest of the Safeties on the Redskins rosters.

Reed Doughty 6-1, 205: Is a leader and a hard worker who gives it his all. He emerged as the Strong Safety after the death of Sean Taylor in 2007. Last season he posted 91 tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 interception

LaRon Landry 6-0, 210: Is the most athletic Safety on the Redskins, with all the tools to play either Safety position. Landry can be great, and he can be great at safety. He wants to hit, has good size, and only needs controlled space and responsibility to be a productive member of the Washington defense. This is why coaches is moving him to Strong Safety which is his natural position. But I still think he can be a great Free Safety.

Kevin Barnes 6-1, 188: This is my choice for Free Safety. Kevin Barnes in college, developed his reputation as one of the ACC's hardest hitters. He is the best Cornerback who can emerge as a Free Safety. In 2007-08 as a Maryland Terp, he recorded 85 tackles, including 5.5 for a loss, six interceptions, two forced fumbles and 14 passes defended. He was drafted third round (80 overall) in the 2009 Draft. I just would like him to pick up weight, maybe 20 pounds, so he can be around 210.

Tell me who you think should play Free Safety and WHY????

Hogs Haven Raiders won the Draft (Grade A+)

Oakland Raiders will be a much improve team next year and added key players that can start next year. They picked up two of the most athletic offensive tackles in the draft in Bruce Campbell and Jared Veldheer. The best linebacker in the draft in Rolando McClain. A good defensive tackle in Lamarr Houston who is a exceptional athlete with outstanding strength and power. The faster payer in the draft WR Jacoby Ford who runs a 4.28 40. And 4 other role players that can contribute on special teams and get quality playing time.

And to put the icing on the cake they got Jason Campbell who to me is a good quarterback and is way better than any quarterback Oakland has on their team. He will start and will finally have a decent o-line with the Raiders drafting the athletic Bruce Campbell and Jared Veldheer. They got there starting tackles for the next 10 years and it dont matter who you put at right or left tackle.

You have to give the Raiders an A+ for the draft and crown the Draft Champions. Look for them to win more games.

I'm glad the Redskins got McNabb, but if Campbell was our starter and we gave him some help he would of done a great job! His stats go up every year.....

We really never needed a quarterback in the draft.

Our first 3 picks should of been:

Round 1, 4th pick Trent Williams

Round 2, 37 pick Taylor Mays

Round 4, 103 pick Bruce Campbell.

A lot of you Redskins fans hate Jason Campbell and is glad he's gone.

We still could of got Jimmy Clausen in the 2nd round and would of had a Franchise qaurterback in him.

I'm happy in what my Skins did in the draft but we could of done much better!

How do you feel about the Raider draft and the Redskins draft with everything said?

Hogs Haven T.O. says he and McNabb have "Unfinished Business"

Everybody knows about Donovan McNabb encouraging the Redskins to sign Terrell Owens. Redskins coach Mike Shanahan told ESPN the team isn't actively considering signing Owens and then McNabb told the Washington Post that the rumor was untrue.

What a LIE......

We all know that Donovan McNabb wants to play with Terrell Owens again and Shanahan didn't want the media to stay on this topic of TO maybe coming to Washington. So he told McNabb to take back what he said and tell reporters that it was untrue.

McNabb did... but this didnt STOP Terrell Owens from talkin about this rumor on Fox Sports Radio (via Sports Radio Interviews) on Wednesday.

TO told reporters that him and Mcnabb have "Some Unfinished Business."

"I’ll say this and go on record and say it: If that is the case for me to go to Washington and for Donovan McNabb and we were to reunite, there would be some unfinished business," Owens said. "I mean going to the Super Bowl and winning it."

ESPN reported that McNabb and Owens discussed a potential reunion while filming the Pros vs. Joes reality show. This is another reason why I believe McNabb really encouraged the Redskins to sign Terrell Owens. It will come down to Coach Shanahan and I know he can control Terrell Owens temper. But how would you feel if TO comes to Washington?

Trent Williams was a three-year starter for the Sooners --- Named a 1st Team All-American in 2009 --- Earned 1st Team All-Big 12 honors in 2008 and 2009 --- Could project to right or left tackle at the next level --- Played right tackle early in his career but moved to left tackle to replace Phil Loadholt as a senior --- Looked much better on the right side in 2008 than he did on the left side in 2009 ---Has all the tools, just needs to be more consistent and pay closer attention to the details --- Terrific all-around blocker who is equally effective in the pass and run games --- Actually compares quite favorably to New Orleans Saints All - Pro Jamaal Brown.

How do you feel about the Redskins drafting Trent Williams over Russell Okung?

Russell Okung is considered by many the best Offensive Tackle in the draft, While Trent Williams is right behind him as the second best. Trent Williams is the most athletic Tackle in the draft and runs a 4.88 in the 40. He can play either right or left and is said to be a little better in the zone blocking scheme that Coach Shanahan is trying to put in. He is not as strong as Okung, buts thats ok because Shanny is goin to make him as strong as an Ox. I feel this was a good pick for the Redskins and he will be a great player to replace Chris Samuels

Hogs Haven Draft Okung, Sign Flozell Adams(Draft Thoughts)???

Now that the Redskins have addressed the quarterback position by trading for Donovan McNabb they are free to use this pick to bolster an offensive line that is in shambles.

With the Draft approaching the Redskins should draft if available Russell Okung who is a Stud at Offensive Tackle.

With ideal size, long arms, great strength, above-average athleticism and feet as well as top-notch intangibles, Okung is just a very good all-around blocker.

Flozell Adams is still a Free Agent and would more than likely get signed to a team after the draft. There are reports that the Redskins have already contacted Adams agent and have shown interest in the Offensive Tackle who was release from Dallas.

He is a proven OT and can really help the Redskins for 3 to 4 years. Adams can play the Right Tackle, while Russell Okung plays the Left Tackle. With Derrick Dockery and Artis Hicks at Gaurd and Casey Rabach at Center the Redskins can have a great O-Line.

This O-Line can be as good as the Offensive Line of the 1980's called The Hogs that won 3 Super Bowls

Thomas, D             Okung,R  Dockery,D  Rabach,C  Hicks,A  Adams,F Cooley,C                 Moss,S

                                                                       McNabb,D

                                                                        Sellers,M

                                                                         Portis,C

This is all we need to win and we can go to the playoffs and maybe the Super Bowl in 2011

Hogs Haven Darren Sharper to the Redskins?

Sharper, who only a season ago was one of the leading causes in the Saints' Super Bowl victory is still on the Free Agent Market.

Sharper hasn't ruled out a return to the Saints, but he did admit that if the Saints had shown him enough love with their early contract offers, he wouldn't be a free agent right now.

The Redskins are in need of a Free Safety so they can move LaRon Landry to Strong Safety Darren Sharper is a great player and a leader on defense that the Redskins should consider signing.

Do you think Darren Sharper will be a good addition to the Redskins?

Hogs Haven What should the Redskins give Denver for Brandon Marshall???

Brandon Marshall signed his $2.521 million tender from the Denver Broncos on Tuesday, and the move could help facilitate a trade.

The Seattle Seahawks were the only team that had Marshall in for a visit during free agency. They remain interested in the physical 6-foot-4 receiver. But who all know that Brandon Marshall actually wants play for Mike Shanahan and catch passes from Donovan McNabb.

WHO or WHAT should the Redskins give Denver for the star wide receiver.

I think they should give Denver:

Santana Moss, Willie Parker, Andre Carter, 4 Round Pick, and money out of  Daniel Snyder pocket for Brandon Marshall???

What do you think the trade should be for Brandon Marshall???????????????

Hogs Haven What if the Rams Don't Select Sam Bradford 1st Overall? (REDSKINS FANS MUST SEE)

At this point, most experts have put quarterback Sam Bradford as the first overall pick. However, what if the Rams don't choose Bradford? It is an intriguing question and one that deserves some attention....

If the first 3 picks happen to go in this order:

1. St. Louis Rams: Ndamkong Suh, DT, Nebraska

2. Detroit Lions: Russel Okung, OT, Oklahoma State

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma

Where does that leave the Redskins? They just traded for Donovan McNabb and need an Offensive Tackle. But with Sam Bradford maybe falling to them at 4, do they draft him and do what the Eagles did with Kevin Kolb? Prepare Sam Bradford to take over Donovan Mcnabb as QB in 4 to 5 years.....

4. Washington Redskins: Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma

My opinion: Yes

Lets say McNabb plays 4 years as the Redskins starting Quarterback and retires or moves on to another team when he's 37. Sam Bradford will be 26 and still in his prime! Mike Shanahan can prepare Bradford to be the Quarterback of the future and Bradford can play for 10 plus years as the starting QB for the Redskins....

Bradford ranked among the better quarterback prospects over the last decade.

McNabb probably has 3 to 5 years left in him.

This might just come back to hunt the Eagles in the long run and also the rest of the NFC EAST for years to come....

Hogs Haven REDSKINS DRAFT NDAMUKONG SUH

If NDAMUKONG SUH happens to slip to the 4th Pick should the Redskins take him? In my opinion YES. He is obviously the best player in the draft.

This is my top 3 picks

ST. LOUIS RAMS:   SAM BRADFORD, QB, OKLAHOMA

Everybody has the Rams taking Bradford

DETROIT LIONS:   RUSSELL OKUNG, OT, OKLAHOMA STATE

Suh might go here at 2, but Lions need OT to protect Matthew Stafford!

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS:   GERALD MCCOY, DT, OKLAHOMA

The truth is the Buccaneers think Mccoy fits better in the team plans then Suh

That takes us to the Redskins at 4....

SUH is what I called a once in a life time player! One of the pest player the draft has seen in 3 to 5 years...He can play every position on the D Line

Imagine this line up:

                         Suh            Kemoeatu        Haynesworth

          McIntosh         Fletcher                ?                  Orakpo

                                                    Antonio Pierce

Hall                                                                                      Rogers

                           Doughty                             Landry

Note:

Phillip Daniels is geting old and Suh is faster than him. So if Daniels can play DE Suh can also...

Antonio Pierce is a Free Agent and can help the Redskins at the other middle linebacker position in the 3-4. Or you can put who ever you want there, it dont matter...

Donovan McNabb can make receivers great! Devin Thomas, Malcolm Kelly, and Fred Davis can all have a breakout year. Haynesworth trade situation is to show Haynesworth that the Redskins are serious and he needs to be a team player. He wont really get traded and nobody wants to pick up the rest of his contract.
But if SUH doesnt slip to 4 than a Offensive Tackle such as RUSSELL OKUNG is the Redskins best bet!

After seeing this what do you think????????????
