Lifelong fanatic of ice hockey since way before there was cable,I only had an old TV and a set of rabbet ears that only picked up Montreal and Ottawa so I got the Canadiens and Senators games. Technology eventually caught up so I was able to see all NHL teams but I also began playing hockey at age 5,on outdoor rinks with the much bigger and older players,By the time I began bantom and midget level I had developed a lot of speed and success at scoring goals so the passion for the game even got stronger,so after (20) 34 game seasons as league leading scorer (2) 50 goal seasons, several trophys , all star game appearances and a stack of hat trick pucks 10 feet high, I think It's safe to say I know this sport pretty good and have a good understanding of the nuts and bolts(no pun intended) from a players perspective on how to build a championship team. I moved to Tampa Bay in 1990 ,I became a fan of the Lightning the first time the newspapers announced that Phil Esposito was in town to negotiate with the league about starting a francise in Tampa Bay and was sitting there in the stands when the puck dropped in their first game ever in the NHL,I stuck with them and defended their name through all the bad seasons and was just about out of my skin when everything paid off in the '04 season ,my dedication to the Lightning will never ever die...GO BOLTS
