"Road to 14"
I apologize if that has been linked previously, but this is a video produced by the Alabama Athletic Department. It features poems written and narrated by Alex Watkins and some very moving imagery and clips looking back over this past season.

Has Les Miles lost his team?
This may just be an attempt by LSU homers to find blame much like the great outcry of "if Colt had not gotten hurt" butthurt of 2009. Regardless, according to this article, there was nearly a revolt prior to the BCSCG, after a few LSU upperclassmen confronted Coach Miles about playing time and Jefferson's preparation leading up to the game. I tend to believe this may be exagerrated but who knows?
--Update--
Just after posting this I saw where T-Bob Hebert Tweeted the following: "There is absolutely no truth to any of these ridiculous rumors going around about this team! Please spread the word don't taint this season"
Future Bama QB Alec Morris Continues to Impress
Morris has an arm blessed to make all of the necessary throws and that is definitely his biggest asset. He really has a cannon. He can sit in the pocket and use that super charged arm to serve up deep balls and fire balls over the middle of the field. He continues to get better and better. Watching him, you can tell that he has worked hard on shortening his delivery to get the ball out quicker but still has some more work to do.

Real meaning behind Oregon's "O" hand gesture
This might explain their style of play.
Watkins and Cyrus injury news confirmed
Izzy Gould just tweeted that Alex Watkins did break his arm and Cyrus will have knee surgery, possibly season ending.
I'm sure we'll hear more soon, but this is obviously disappointing.
It wasn't just tatoos for Buckeye Players
The hits just keep on coming for tOSU.
The Columbus Dispatch reports that Ohio State football players are alleged to have improperly traded dozens of items to the owner of a tattoo parlor, receiving tattoos, $14,000, and in one case a sport-utility vehicle.
VCU and their stripper pep band director.
Now that the NCAA tourney is down to only 16 teams, who ya got? For me it's VCU. There's the Coach Grant connection, the upset victories enroute to the Sweet 16, and they look like a good bunch to party with.
OSU Presser Tonight
Get your popcorn ready. OSU plans to address the allegations in the Yahoo article tonight.
Julio Jones continues to best AJ Green at Combine
Hopefully Julio will concentrate during the pass catching drills and continue his great showing.

Will JustinTV be next?
Well this does not bode well for those of us that are forced to watch our beloved sporting teams on the interwebz via various streaming video services.
Cyrus headed to the barn?
At this point anything is possible, but today is the first time I've heard a legitimate source mention any school other than Alabama as the most likely destination for Cyrus. Today on Finebaum I heard where Luginbill predicted that Cyrus would surprise everyone and sign with the barn. This link to a Sbb post may shed some light on why the barn is suddenly high on Cyrus' list.
Barners planning a classy celebration
SBB has a funny story about the barners planning to party like it's 1989.
2011 Tide, Will Upshaw Stay?
Pretty good write-up from the folks over at TideSports.com.
For what it's worth I wouldn't blame Upshaw for "striking while the iron is hot" and turning pro. From this article it appears that some of his teammates and coaches think he will be back.
From the Article
"We don't know who all is going to be here next year as far as the draft goes … but I see Robert Lester and Courtney Upshaw stepping up and being big-time leaders next year," Hightower said.
Upshaw recorded five sacks over his last two games against Auburn and Michigan State. Although Upshaw is a junior and is also eligible to turn pro early, the linebacker indicated weeks ago he intended to return. UA coach Nick Saban said as much Saturday.
"He's been one of our outstanding players and is going to be one of the leaders of our team next year in terms of what he can do defensively," Saban said.
ed. (Todd) - I would be shocked if Upshaw jumps. He has had a monster end of the season, but it took him most of last season to finally catch on and then spent the biggest part of this season injured. There is no way he would go high enough to justify leaving early.
Monday Morning Iron Bowl Hangover
So kipling iffer did a great job on Saturday of putting Bama's season into perspective and talking many of us off the proverbial ledge (myself included). On this first real workday after the long holiday weekend I am curious to read your stories of how your co-workers/friends have reacted to the Bama loss, and how you are responding?
For me personally, I'm stationed in Texas, so I can't swing a dead tiger without hitting a Longhorn or A&M fan, so one fan base is pretty quiet and the other largely sympathetic. So far the general reaction from those I serve with has been "how did you guys let them off the hook". Fortunately, I haven't had to deal with any real smartass comments or vitriol like I did following the USCe loss. Although I did expect to get a lot of hazing, (deservedly so after losing to your in-state rival) for me it's been more akin to a funeral with endless expressions of condolence.
Sadly, it seems like the whole world can see the specter of a vacated national championship on the horizon, and everyone was looking to Bama to help avoid that possible train wreck for all of college football. In fact, I've had several non-Bama fans (longhorn, A&M, TCU obviously) here at work approach me and tell me about how they were openly pulling for Bama to win against the barn. Many of us saw this same sentiment on the RBR game threads last Friday as we had visitors from various SBN sites dropping in over the course of the game. Unfortunately, it seems everyone is lamenting the wasted opportunity we had on Friday night, everyone except the barn that is.

Julio Update
Coach Saban updates the media on Julio.
He hasn't had any setbacks," Saban said. "...Today will give us a good feel for where he is. ...It's not a long-term injury."
Rolando and the Raiders take on Dallas tonight.
Head on over to the Raider blog "Thoughts From The Darkside" to check out the latest on Rolando and his progression at Raider camp so far. It's going to be strange seeing Ro wearing #55.
Malcolm Brown, the Nation's #1 RB recruit.
One of the great things about being in the Army is the travel. You get to visit exciting and beautiful places like Afghanistan, Kosovo and Iraq for all expense paid lengthy vacations. Of course it's not all bodyarmor and roses, there are some drawbacks as well. Occasionally you get sent to some real craptastic places like Texas. Of course I'm an optimist so I plan to embrace the culture and HS football. It just so happens that my new hometown is the stomping grounds of Rivals 5 Star RB Malcolm Brown, the nations #1 RB recruit. I plan to go watch Steele HS (in Cibolo) play ball as much as I can this fall and I'm willing to share a first-hand review of this talented Bama target with the RBR faithful, if you guys are interested?
Another Oregon Starter Arrested
Oregon starting RB LaMichael James has been booked and is currently at the Lane County Jail having been charged with strangulation, assault and menacing.
The Oregon football team is having a really bad time off the field.
