If these changes ( which mack can make) are made before 2011, expect to see a championship ring in austin again.  I doubt mack does all of this but even half of these would change our team for the better so much

Its camp time for the longhorns, which means some meaningfull recruiting news for us in a long time. Just to update you from what i have heard and read. The 1st camp is mostly full of commits, some 2012 kids and guys like q.russell and anthony wallace. The second one is where the 2012 studs are coming and 3 oos studs from 2011. The 3 oos guys are rasco,turner,asj. Also guys like charles jackson and the bennter okchoka kid are coming to earn offers. Rasco seems to be showing more love to the horns and turner and asj are leans to us.

Im not gobr but still i'd like to share what i've heard  with you guys. First jermauria rasco is still in play will muschamp and oscar giles went to evangel christian to check on him and rasco has said that ut is still one of his main favorites. We have told reed that he can play orakpo's role and rasco can play kindle's role. Also i heard a national rivals guy on the radio say that texas leads for josh turner and malcolm brown and that both will according to him commit to us in june.

I read this off of orangebloods free board. In it he says that he might go to Florida, Bama, or Texas. I dont know if we're in his top 3 but were back on the radar. It also says Major Applewhite has been in contact and Jenkins has spoken with Cedric Reed. Is this foreshadowing more attrition to come or the coaching staff still not 100% sure on McFarland? Whatever it may be. The kid has already visited Austin once and has repeatedly expressed interest in Texas.

As we all know we have struggled against power running teams like osu and bama. How have muschamp and mack recruited differently on defense to solve this problem. What kind of players do we need to stop a power i offense. BIgger players will struggle vs the spread and smaller vs power teams. Gobr what do you know as well as you longhorn fans. Your info is appreciated. If were not changin anything will the change to a 2 back system help prepare the defense better.

Are any of you guys concerned with the lack of depth at the defensive tackle position. I know that we have arguably the best trio of ends in the country. Kheeston randall will be a super star, possibly even better than houston and miller. . I know that muschamp does a great job with the d-line but from the spring game the other d-tackles looked meh to me. What are ur thoughts? Thanks in advance.

First of all i understand that he is a aggie and he will post crap about texas but still this stuff is idiotic.

1.Part of the reason earl thomas didn't win the thorpe this year is cause how horrible our pass d was in 2008!

2. Earl thomas would be running 2nd string at a&m behind trent hunter who is the 2nd best safety in cfb supposedly.

3. in 2011 and 2012 a&m will have banner years despite the fact that their defense wil still suck and they will lose jerrod johnson.

4. I'm not totally sure on this one but i remember him saying that joe kines is better than will muschamp and muschamp is good cause of elite talent. Well isn't that the point to get great players and develop them.

5. Colt mccoy gave up on his team in the biggest game of his life when everything was going good early. He called him sissy-boy mccoy. The man expects people to not be mad at that but when someone says something bout the bonfire he cries like a little baby.

Gobr and longhorn fans who are the top longhorn targets for 2012. Who are other kids that wow you, and what are ut's chances with the top kids. I know this may be to early but we have almost all our 2011 class sewed up and we should get a headstart on talking about them.

Remember how beergut and miketag told us that deruyter and williams would be so good. Well so far the aggies are doing horribly on the defensive side of the ball. Were getting who ever we want including kids who would start immediately for the aggies ex:9(edmond,evan,thompson).Ou looks to be getting wallace and quincy aldridge soon. Lsu took t.randle from them and will prob get hughes. Hell tcu and houston have kids who a&m was after for example earl foster. I wonder why the aggies havent improved at all. They can't get kids even by telling them they'll be sitting at ut or ou and could start immediately for a&m. If sherman wants to compete for championships and if they're going to have banner years in 2011 and 2012 according to beergut, they better step it up. Muschamp is eating up williams and deruyter on the recruiting trail.

I hope that mack is serious this time. We can't put the pressure we put on colt on gg. The last 2 years everytime we ran from under center we always got great yardage whether it was against ou or aggie. What do you guys think of the new "change".A lot of the experts think we won't do it, gobr what about you.

Obviously with the injuries we have had at the position and the uncertainty of irby's recovery, tight end is a huge need for us. So i was wondering. Question for GOBr who our top targets for the position in 2011 are. i have heard that chris barnett is not very high on us and looks like miami leads so who are the other options were looking at from in state and out of.  Thanks in advance
