Double-T Nation 4 OSU Tickets for sale

An hour ago, my aunt went into labor, which means the family is staying in Dallas this weekend. The tickets are section 121 row 20 and cost $46. I'm looking to get around $25 for them. Email me or post if you're interested. My email is nckirksey@gmail.com. I live on campus, so key me know when and where you want to meet to make the exchange.
 Five more words almost done.

Double-T Nation Good places for lunch in Lubbock

Tonight my family and I are driving to Lubbock from DFW for Admitted Student Day tomorrow.  Since I've only been to Lubbock twice since 2005, I was wondering what some of you people who live in the Lubbock area recommend for lunch.  It doesn't have to be on campus, but I'd prefer that it be sort of close.  Since we're leaving in maybe 2 hours, I won't be able to post, but I will get an email with each response.  Thanks a bunch and I'll hopefully see some of you around at football and basketball games next season.

Double-T Nation Sonny Dykes' "Interview"

Well, Arizona got DEMOLISHED by Nebraska.  Sure, Suh is a beast and the whole NU defense is great, but Zona failed to score A SINGLE POINT.  I sure hope the athletic department keeps this in mind in regards to hiring Sonny Dykes.  The bottom line is, you can't hire an OC as the HC of your football program who prepared his team for two weeks to play and came up with a giant goose egg on the scoreboard.  Embarrassing.  Knowing Myers, Bailey, and Hance, they're all licking their lips at the prospect that Little Dykes is willing to take a lower salary to be a HC at his dad's old job.  Nonetheless, the Texas Tech athletic department should view the Holiday Bowl as Dykes' interview.  Sure, his team was successful this year, but the resume only gets you an interview and Sonny wasn't only late, he didn't even show up.

To all the people who have common sense (basically the fans) this means Dykes is out of the question.  That leaves...

1. Kevin Sumlin, Houston (with Dana Holgersen as OC and Ruff as DC)

2. Larry Fedora, Southern Mississippi

3. Chris Petersen, Boise State

4. Art Briles, Baylor

5. Ruffin McNeill

I hope we get Sumlin and Holgersen with Ruff as the DC, but that's very unlikely.  However, UH will most likely have a huge drop off after this season after losing Case Keenum, so we might be able to hire him.  Unfortunately, we will most likely hire Art Briles, Sonny, or Ruff as HC.  Of the three, I would prefer Ruff, but I don't think he's HC material.  Hiring the two remaining "good 'ol boys" would doom our program, seeing as our Administration would spend way too much time drinking scotch and discussing right wing politics with the new HC, among other things, such as watching western films and starting a small cotton crop of their own in the middle of the football field.

Double-T Nation Things to discuss while we wait for the Alamo Bowl

Since we have almost 3 weeks until our beloved Red Raiders duke it out with Michigan State in San Antonio and we can only cover so many things in a three week span, I think we should discuss a few topics while we're waiting for the bowl games.

Item #1: With Graham Harrell, what would our record be right now?

Item #2: Top 5 surprises this year (in the whole NCAA)

Item #3: Do you think we should have a playoff?  Why or why not?

Item #4: If you think we should have a playoff, what format would you choose (be creative)?  If you think we should stick with the BCS would you make any modifications?

Item #5: Bowl predictions (I think we should have a DTN Bowl Pick 'Em)

Double-T Nation Screw the Politicking...I have a better idea!

Let’s just combine Texas, OU, and Tech to form a SUPER TEAM. We can call them the Texoma Red Soonhorns.

That would definately put an end to the politicking and turn out favorably for all 3 schools.
BCSCG Prediction:
Texoma Red Soonhorns: 9,418 Poor little SEC conference champion: 0
Debates over the name of the SUPER TEAM/margin of victory over the team we play in the NCG/team we play can commence now...
