Apparently if you can coach the Defensive Backs in one of the worst Defenses against the pass in the Nation you can get a job in the great SEC at one the Rock Star Schools...Florida. So eventhough the Jeep may not have secured a job yet Robinson as apparently. So appatently Will Muschamp really liked how we defended Gilbert!!!!! Anyway, needless to say the Jeep and Robinson have apparently great reputations so The High Plains Drifter was went on good reports......See Ya Robinson, have fun in Florida!!! Wreck'Em Tech

The High Plains Commander(new moniker per Tech PR guy) released the 2 Deep for the SMU game. Not really sure how relavent it is in all areas but I do think it helpf along the Offensive and Defensive lines. The O line looks good but not a ton of depth. D line looks great if they play to their average ability. Any overachieving is just gravy.

I went and watched today's press video(8/23) and it seems The High Plains Drifter is hedging his bets on this QB thing. He makes it very clear that Sicks will play this year in certain circumstances, certain defenses, and certain teams.

I have struggled through all this "HC change" and I have went back and for on who I would like to come behind the Pirate. It just occurred to me, have we made to where we are past "wait till next year"?

If anything we have learned what the landscape seems to be. Briles really made his decision about TTech when he had the $4M buyout in his contract, so to me here is a way to hire Tuberville and keep Ruff...
Update on Mississippi Commit/Prospects

If you keep up with it, TTech has gotten a commit form Olive Branch, MS. Eric Lawson is his name and his team played this last Friday against Madison Central, a suburb of Jackson. Olive Branch had 3 OL that are 6'6" and 300+. Lawson played guard and did a good job all nite on Madison Central's DL which only is 6'3" 270. Lawson projects to a guard and looks like he is great for TTech O. Also, Madison Central has 2 DL TTech is recruiting, Carlton Martin and Bryon Bennett. Anyway, Madison Central won 52-23 and in fact, Martin seems to be a 4-star with Bennett a rising 3-star that may become a 4-star and Bennett had a much better nite than Martin. Wrech'Em Tech

November 20 will bring a interesting site here in Central Mississippi as Commit Eric Lawson from Olive Branch High School will be playing 2 big-time prospects for Madison Central High, Carlton Martin and Byron Bennett. It is a home game for Madison Central which is a suburb of Jackson. I live in another suburb, Clinton and work in Madison Co. and I'm looking forward to seeing these players in person. I'm grabbing my sons and the 3 of us will be wearing our TTech stuff with all our pirate pride. I'll check back in next week with an update! Beat ou! Wreck'Em Tech

Kate from the Dallas Morning News has reported that she has just spoken with Capt. Leach and "he assumes" he'll be at Tech. He has not signed the extention but she infered that it will happen at some point. He is still very upset about the Downtown Athletic Club not inviting Harrell to New York. Leach has not spoken to Graham but they will see each other tonight. She saw him in Orlando @ the ESPN awards. Wreck'em Tech Keep Leach
