I posted this idea at AtQ as well, I just was wondering what others thought of the idea.

What about the idea of sending a Pac-10 #3 to the Liberty Bowl instead of the Sun Bowl?

In my idea the Liberty and Sun Bowls would be "trading" the Pac-10 tie in for the the Conference USA champion. And it could make sense for parties involved, Pac-10 and SEC get a bowl match up in a 2 million dollar bowl. Conference USA gets another Texas Bowl(4 teams from Texas) and it keeps a BCS match up.(Big East/Big 12)
