Buster Onley reported on mlbtraderumors.com that we are likly to offer teix a contract worth 100-120 million.  How many years is that going to be in unclear.  If we miss out on Teix. who would like to see this option.  Right now it is unclear who are left fielder is.  As most of you know manny is a left fielder. Why not move morales, willits,figgins, and a pitcher (weaver, saunders)  to the Brewers for Prince.  The Brewers might lose Cameron to the Yankees so Figgins will be a good lead off hitter. They let Councell go so 3rd is open.  They probably wont sign c.c. they will need pitching.  They get morales for first..  And than we sign manny and a 5th starter. I like our team than.... Something fun just to think about... I hate offseason

Rodriguez, Teixeira, Garret Anderson, Jon Garland, Juan Rivera and Darren Oliver have all filed for free angecy.  In my opinion I believe we can live without Rodriguez and John Garland. As for a closer I would like to see shields start the season as our closer and have Arredondo set him up and by next year Arredondo take the job depending on if he can keep it up.  We need Oliver back unless we add another lefty in the bullpen because we need ATLEAST one southpaw in there.  And with Anderson and Rivera. I say we would just need one of them. I would say Rivera deserves the chance but Anderson has earned it.  I love both players but at this point i would like to see if Rivera can have another 06 season.  And with Teixeira I would like to see him back.  But if not let morales do his thing and sign Dunn.  IMO what do you guys think??
