Why can't BD do this during games? If I counted correctly he shot 18/23 from the 3-line, that's 78%. So far in games he's shot the exact opposite of that, a whopping 28%.
The first video is of BD.

The 11-39 Clippers have been decimated by injuries this season, but are gradually starting to get healthy. Zach Randolph is about to make his second start since his return, and Baron Davis is making just his third. Neither guy is entirely 100 percent yet.
So what constitutes that final 10 percent before a player is back at full strength?
"It's mental," Randolph said before tonight's game in Atlanta. "Knowing that you're stable. That when you go up, then come down, you're going to be alright."
Ten days ago, the afternoon before his return to the court, Davis conveyed a similar thought. "The psychological aspect is the last to come around. There are moves that you want to do, but you're not sure. There's a mind game -- going into the paint, thinking you can dunk, but you haven't dunked in a month and a half."
We tend to believe that professional athletes have infallible command over their bodies. The physical acts of running, jumping, dunking, and cutting have always come so naturally to them. But when a level of careful awareness -- an extra layer of consciousness -- is introduced into the game, it's really, really disarming.
Looks like Baron is having a good time here.
