It's Official: Frank Martin to South Carolina
So, who do the Wildcats pursue? More importantly, who do the Wildcats pursue who would actually want the job?
Sadler out at Nebraska
I know they aren't in the Big 12 anymore, but Sadler is a good coach and it's unfortunate to see him get the boot.
Tough Love Benefits Thomas Robinson
"Self's tough love and Robinson's own determination have created a wonderful monster, a fierce competitor who is not only the best player on his team but perhaps the best in the country."
Weis adds a D-Lineman
I have to say, Weis is certainly not sitting back when it comes to this job. He may be crippled but he definitely seems to have energy.
SEC Accidentally Announces Missouri To SEC
Apparently, the SEC is a fan of the Missouri Public Relations School of "Showing Your Hand In The Middle Of The Game."
OU is this year's Missouri
The Pac-12 is not expanding, according to a statement from Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott.
OU's bluff has been called. Let the awkward silence between them and the rest of the Big 12 promptly ensue.
Portraits of Conference Realignment
Heaven forbid I spread something on a Mizzou messageboard...but this is kind of funny.
In Case You Wanted Some More Kool-Aid...
...one of ESPN's analysts projects us in the Pinstripe Bowl.
Royce Woolridge Transferring
We just lost SIX players to the draft and graduation...seems likely that he would see a bump in minutes next year.
That means the Jayhawks have SEVEN scholarships to offer at this point. Three are filled. Bill Self needs to find a way to land at least two more and then push for a monster class with the 2012 group.
ESPN Now Calling Anderson To Arkansas
Really a bizarre few days on this. One would have to think this could impact Kansas at least a little in terms of recruiting. McLemore will almost surely be a Jayhawk now and Otto Porter a PF that was down to Georgetown and Mizzou has added a Kansas visit to his agenda.
KU, KSU, MU — What's the difference?
My hands will be cold and dead the day they hold those of a Wildcat or Tiger.
The burden of being really good at what you do is people tend to take it for granted. So Kansas lost the two players (Cole Aldrich and Sherron Collins) who personified their team and another who was talented enough to be selected in the lottery (Xavier Henry)? So KU is back in the top five anyway? So the Jayhawks have now won at least a share of seven consecutive Big 12 titles? It’s Kansas. That’s supposed to happen. Except if it’s always supposed to happen, why doesn’t anyone else do it? Self’s run of supremacy is wildly impressive and pathetically under appreciated.
My contribution to this week's Tigger-baiting
A 19-year-old Columbia, Mo., resident was arrested for soliciting prostitution after he called police and said two prostitutes cheated him out of his money.
Jayhawk football gets first official 2011 commit
From the LJW: "The Kansas University football program received its first official commitment from the Class of 2011 on Tuesday, when Blue Valley West offensive lineman Dylan Admire signed a letter of intent with KU. "
Good Lord, can this just be done with?
Granted, I would much rather find out Selby's ineligible before he plays, but this is taking way too long.
It's official. Nebraska bolts for the Big Ten
Things are going to crumble pretty quickly from this point on, methinks.
"The Right Side Of The Line"
Andy Katz probes the mind of HCBS.
Obama has KU, KSU in his Final Four
I'm more surprised that he has Villanova in the mix.
You Stay Classy, Mizzou
I know this isn't sports related, but it involves one of our hated rivals and it's disparaging so I thought what the hell.
If This Isn't Evidence Of The Media's Bias Toward The East Coast, I Don't Know What Is
Seriously, why are people that far west considering UNC's home the best basketball town? WTF?
Collins A Finalist For Cousy Award
Not surprising, but still worth noting.
They eat. They tease. They eat. They sleep. They eat. They win. It's a pretty uncomplicated recipe for happiness.
ESPN's Dana O'Neill's story after tagging along with the 'Hawks on their recent trip to Philly. Just a fun read.
Boom: Front Page...I was going to fanshot this as well but Tequila was on the mark already. Good stuff on our Jayhawks.

Best, Worst Kansas Big Dance Memories Rated By ESPN Among Most Memorable Tournament Games
God, that Syracuse game was ridiculous. 'Melo's unbelievable talent not withstanding, it was McNamara's 10-of-13 3-pointers that still makes me cringe. And the Memphis game, yeah, (non-KU) friends who were watching it with me thought I was going to die of a heart attack after the final buzzer.
Leach Walks The Plank
Texas Tech bit the bullet and fired the pirate-loving coach. Whether he legitimately mistreated James' son I'm not so sure, but there's obviously something big going on.
Well, This Might Explain Cole's Down Game
He's got bronchitis and it sounds like his grandmother is literally on her deathbed. Mental toughness or not, that shit's gotta weigh on you, especially with the stress of school.
Bobby Knight Slams Calipari, Says He Lacks Integrity
Not that I've always been the biggest fan of Bobby, but he knows the game and isn't afraid to call people out for their shenanigans.
Kelly Goes To The Domers
Well, that still leaves Harbaugh as an option for us. Not that I want him, but that leaves him as an option nonetheless.
