Haven't heard much on his front lately but i just got some good news ala Mel Kiper Jr. According to Kiper he has Torrey Smith going in the late first round ahead of Jake Locker and Ryan Mallet. Always nice to hear some good news on a former terp. Where do you think he'll be drafted? In my opinion i have him going very early in the 2nd round possibly to the Cardinals with their need of a number 2 receiver if Steve Breaston leaves.

Okay, so as you all know, the trade deadline is coming up and since our Diamondbacks haven't been doing so great there's been a lot of speculation surrounding us. Dan Haren and Conor Jackson were both traded. Adam Laroche, Edwin Jackson, Chad Qualls, and Chris Snyder are all also possibilities of being traded(As are Stephen Drew and Kelly Johnson, just not as likely). After the jump, I'll look at how some of our early trades are doing for us and suitors and likelihoods of our current players being trade.

According to many reports, the Big Ten has made offers to Nebraska, Missouri, Notre Dame and Rutgers to join the conference. The report also said that if all schools accept, the conference would look to add a 16th school.
