what a year of contradictions...as a typical Texan, i grew up madly in love with the game of football. my idols all wore either burnt orange jerseys, or silver helmets with blue stars. ...yaa yada yada, long story short, here goes...

  I have LOVED Colt ever since Tech his freshman year. I recognized a competitiveness that few possess, and I believed then he could be {{dare i admit this??}} better than VY....... around the time that Colt brilliantly guided us to a road win over Tech, tony romo came in to replace drew bledsoe for my beloved Cowboys. ..i knew Colt would grow to be a STUD, i was worried beyond words over romo. ...since then, Colt has matured into a field general few expected. between the lines, he's a genius. off the field, he's an even better person. Colt represents everything good and wholesome about Texas, qualities like Faith, hard work, humanity....

on the other end of the spectrum., dum ol romo is still a Pretender. he hasnt learned to protect the football, he still tries to mimick brett favre, he has no leadership ability and no concern over w/l's..off the field, the guy's an embarassment. a tabloid superstar, a failed comediane, a wannabe superstar.....despite the Odessa legend possibly saving the team, i just cant get excited about another season of romo's pathetic antics, or the cowboys in general.
