Blogging The Boys Why the Boys need to be careful against the Packers

I was doing my usual reading when I ran across this article out about the Packers.

http://www.jsonline.com/sports/packers/69820142.html

For those that consider this game to be an easy game, I warn you to be careful.  What do you guys think?  Am I over-reacting or is this a trap game?  Give me reasons why the Boys will not over-look the Packers after a tough hard fought game against the Eagles.  Remember, the Cowboys have never beaten the Packers at Lambeau Field until last year.  Historically, after emotional wins, the Boys come out flat.  Why will this week be any different?  So let me hear from you why do you think the Boys will win this weekend?

Blogging The Boys Do the Players have a gag order too?

According to the Star Telegram, the gag order seems to be in place for the players as well.  When asked on ESPN First Take this morning his gut feel  on the  TO situation, Roy Williams said "I don't know if I'm allowed to answer that question".  They went further to say that his answers sounded coached and he didn't shed any light on the Cowboys.  So what do you think guys could this finally be happening?

Blogging The Boys Is Leadership Overrated?

Okay,  we have heard from Tony Romo that leadership is over-rated.  He has said that "I'm not a rah-rah kind of guy."  He believes that every player just needs to execute and everything will be okay.  For some reason, that's what Romo thinks of leadership.

Ex Cowboy players, like Moose Johnston, Babe Laufenberg, and Troy Aikman are bothered by those comments.  Moose has said that when Troy was QB, he took all the criticism of the Cowboys on his shoulders, never saying anything critical of his team.  This in turn made him a leader.  Moose went further to say that he was bothered by Romo's comments after the Philly loss.  He said that after Romo's comments after the Philly loss, he wondered what had happened to the guy that cried after the bobbled snap incident in Seattle?

Babe Laufenberg has always been a staunch defender of Romo's but now he is concerned about some of the comments that Romo has made.  One such comment that Romo has made is "if I win one or two Super Bowls then I have had a pretty good career".  What bothers Babe about those comments is the fact that shouldn't you want to win the Super Bowl every year?  Laufenberg even went so far as to say if he were Jerry Jones he would be cringing at those comments?

Finally, we get to Aikman's famous comments "Perception is Reality."  Without rehashing the Cabo incident does people's perception of you become reality?

I know that we have gone back and forth on Romo.  Many are staunch defenders of Romo while others not so much.  The purpose of this post is not to rehash all the negatives/positives of Romo, but to ask the question  "Is Leadership Overrated"?  My next question to ask of you is What qualities make a good leader and does the Quarterback need to be the leader?
