Ten Things I Think I Think
1. I think these are my quick-hit thoughts of Week 16:
a. Todd Haley swears he didn't give that Kansas City fan the finger. I hope he's right."
Sad state of affairs when speculation by Mr. "only shows his bottom teeth" gets national coverage...
Albert as our LT of the future.
I was just reading through several of the mock drafts and mock draft discussions, and it seems like a lot of the debate for our 1st round pick comes down to Okung vs Berry/Mays.
With us playing Denver two out of the next five weeks, I think we are going to know much more whether taking a LT is a legitimate scenario with Albert going up against Dumerville. If Albert holds his own and really limits the pressure that one of the best in the game can get, I don't think taking LT with our first pick will be considered very strongly.
If on the other hand, Albert gets dominated, then we really start thinking about taking a LT with the first pick.
I personally have been a proponent of leaving Albert a LT, but if Albert struggles, I think Pioli will be looking at a lot of OK State game tape the next five months.
We'll all be looking for progress the next five weeks in the team in general, but it will probably be especially interesting to watch Albert very closely the last few weeks, but especially how he does in the games against Denver.
Anyone else have any thoughts or match ups they will be watching really closely the next few weeks? These match ups are really going to drive whatt we are going to be talking once the offseason starts, and in the months leading up to the draft.
Ryan O'Callaghan (OT) released by Pariots
Biggest surprise, to me, is O'Callaghan. Thought he played well enough to earn a spot. He'll land on another roster. My guess: Chiefs. -Mike Reiss' Twitter page
Matt mentioned O'Callaghan in last night's waiver wire post. -Chris
Chiefs cut Macintosh, Taylor, others.

Marshall Suspended by Broncos
ESPN Insider Adam Schefter is reporting that the Denver Broncos have suspended wide receiver Brandon Marshall for the remainder of the pre-season for conduct detrimental to the team. The suspension come in the wake of Marshall’s insubordinate behavior during Wednesday’s practice.
Schefter also reports that although the Broncos have made inquiries with several teams to facilitate a trade for Marshall, most are leery of the Broncos asking price (reportedly a 1st and 4th round draft choices), given Marshall’s propensity for off-the-field problems.
