This is a real smack in the face to the 2000 Devils team that won the cup. I know, he is probably just trying to give his team confidence. However, the 'Hawks are good and young to boot.

Contrary to what was said elsewhere, it looks like Mottau isn't close to resigning. Who would take him? I have my doubts about signing him unless its as a 7th defenseman.

I hope this means Lou will announcing a new coach soon and I hope it will be John Maclean. However, Lou has his own schedule. Maybe Martin is just looking to move on.

I like them better in Albany but eventually, I'd like to see them in Trenton. That would really be awesome.

Not really a big fan of this, however if his minutes go down and he doesn't make the huge gaffes he made last season then it could possibly work out. I hope we work in some youngsters on D though, that is the future.

After reading this I agree with Jacques even more. You can't tell a coach how to coach. You won't always like everything he does but give him respect. It sounds to me like he didn't always get it.
