It's a longshot but I find it interesting that Texas Tech is the quietest school about all of this save the Big 12 talk. The kind of quiet that A&M was showing when they were talking to the SEC.

I'm not saying it's likely but there is still a chance Kent Hance is trying to see if our Pac 10 invite is valid. I say this only based on a conversation I had with a former BOR. Kent and Guy bailey were big on the PAC 10 because of the renewing of rivalries between border conference members ASU AND Arizona and because of the financial support it would provide our emerging university with not only athletics but research money allocation.

Kent is a shrewd politician and will fight until the ink is dry. I'm not saying its likely but until I hear an official announcement from him I have hope. Texas Tech could possibly do what A&M didn't have the balls to do and that is walk away from Texas and blaze their own path.

One more thing. Larry Scott didn't get where he is letting a hack like Beebe out do him. This #hit isn't over. I expect more fireworks tomorrow.

Tomorrow if their regents approve of the 10 million dollar buyout. Colorado will see your strongly worded emails Baylor and proceed to join the Pac 10 anyway.
