So the Rays swept the Red Sox, yippee! But, now the Boys in Blue take on the Royals. The Royals remind me of the Devil Rays, a team that will play you tough. If the Rays don't watch out they could get bitten by the Royals. I am still bitter that the Devi Rays got swept by the Royals last year. Anyone for late payback?

I remember when the Devil Rays were playing the Royals at home, that was the game Jonny Gomes hit three home runs! Great game!

Let's go Rays! I hope they King Henry the Royals! Go Rays Go!

Nothing that get's my goat more then a "Let's Go Red Sox chant" at the Trop. It's a wonderful feeling knowing the Rays are still quite competitive at the beginning of July. I still can't fathom that, more then likely, July 31st will come around and I don't have to hear about a Carl Crawford trade rumor. That's pretty nice.

Rayniacs unite. How do you feel about this series. I do not need to tell about the Boston Red Sox, you should already be familiar with them. I will say this, I am loving our pitching match-ups in comparison to the the last few series were I can only see us winning one or two. But, with the big three of Shields, Garza, and some guy named Kazmir I am liking our odds.

One last note on Red Sox fans. Don't they owe someone big something big. I mean, how many times did we hear, "oh if the Sox win a World Series I will die in peace." Well, there is a big guy upstairs that would be happy to collect on the Red Sux end of the bargain. Just saying!

Let's go wash out some Red Sox! Let's go Rays!

 	<fieldset class="poll-box">

How will the Red Sox Rays Series turn out!

Rays Sweep and all is right in the Universe

rays take two out of three and Peter Gammons in turn has a nervous breakdown

I don't care. I don't have a pulse. And I feel that CoCo Crisp should have his suspension reduce to 1 game

PNC Ballpark, in my oppinion the best ballpark in all of baseball. The Rays will be taking their three game win streak to to Steel-Town. How do you Rayniacs think the boys in blue will do?

Remember the Buc-os did play the Stanks pretty well. The Rays will bring Kaz, Ejax, and Sonny to face the young, scrappy Pirate hitters.

So, the Rays have long road trip to Miami (4 hours). I will say this much, i was shocked that the Rays lost today's game. That one stung. Hopefully the Rays can stop dicking around and play the kind of ball we all know they can play.

Who is in a mood for a fish fry? Anyone?

We all know the marlins, they were just here. They have a good squad but I truly feel the Rays have better team. Let's see how the boys in Blue do. Go Rays!

In my years of being a Rays fan, I have never been more proud. It is just purely a sweet dream hearing the recognition on the radio and television. That being said, I hope the Rays do not become lackadaisical. I fully hope they continue to build on the collateral they built.

So, I want here from you Rayniacs, what do you think is going to happen vs the Houston Astros?

Houston brings a staff of names that some may know because alot of the same names have made it to the playoffs. The same names have let the Astros to a 8-game losing streak.

Sound off what do you think is going to happen?

Let's go kick some Astros! Go Rays! Go Rays! Go Rays!

Let's Put this Barry Bonds issue to Rest, please.

Okay, so you want the Rays to win. Good, we all do. So you want a big name talent to bring it all together (kind of like Shaquille O'Neal was in Phoenix.) If you are saying Barry Bonds is the answer, then I have some questions and scenarios for you!

He is on his way out and has a history of injury. Any time Bonds' strikes out you will have the question, "was your upcoming trial on you mind today?"

If Bonds hits a blast and it hits the Catwalk, causing him to miss a homer will he jovially say he enjoys playing here?

Bottom of the ninth, game is on line. Bonds hits into a double-play. Do you think he is going to run hard to the base?

Okay, Bonds is signed for chump-change. he is hitting .190 with 2 HR and 8 RBIs for his first 150 ABs what will you say then? Support your decision.

Who would you cut on this team (besides Glover) to make room for Bonds, and why?

Jonahthen Pappalbon, or however he spells his name, is shooting off at the mouth. I have included the link below.

He says the feud is not over. He continues to say that the Rays should be ready. Classy? I say not. But what can you expect from an organization that was last to integrate?

Way to go Red Sox, maybe you should make a new movie call it Fever Punch.

What if Carl Was to Sit out on the DL?

Last year Carl Crawford sat out the last two weeks of the season. And a long two weeks that was. Their seemed to be no consistency in the offence, maybe that was because it was the end of the season, maybe it wasn't.

News on Carl's leg has come out and stated that his right knee and hamstring were bothering him. He says according to the St. Petersburg times that he will be playing through pain for some time.

I pose the question what if CC sat out for 15 days? What if he took a break to rest and heal? Would it be better have a 80% Carl for a while or a 100% Carl for the rest of the season (barring nothing else goes wrong?)

What are the Rays options? They do have a few:

1. Nathan Haynes could come back up and play.

2. Justin Ruggiano would get a fair look to see where he fits in, if at all, in the Rays future.

3. Fernando Perez could get a shot? For those not familiar with Fernado Perez think Joey Gaithright with a degree from Columbia University.

4. Joel Guzman could come up and play left field, he has at the major league level and minor league level.

5. Ben Zobrist

6. Elliot Johnson

7. Go seriously at Kenny Lofton, why not?

Once again, I don't know anything to come to this conclusion. I am just bringing up the question.

One more thing, Carl resting could add more playing time for Gomes, Hinske, and Floyd. Is that a good thing? Probably not. But the important thing is the Rays have options!
