Jason La Canfora, of the NFL Network, reports the New England Patriots have signed free-agent WR Isaiah Stanback (Cowboys) to their practice squad. The team is planning to move him to quarterback.

Now watch. They'll use him in the Wildcat and he'll light it up. I do wish him luck though. I was hoping he could be good for us. It was stupid to try and move him to WR anyways.

I live about 15 minutes away from Eastern Illinois University. So of course this story was front page news in the sports section. And since it's Romo I thought I'd post it here. On October 17th Romo will be inducted into the EIU Hall of Fame. Here's more info for those who care to read more. Plans are set right now for him to be there when he's inducted. I'm hoping it stays that way 'cause it would be awesome if he signed autographs. I'd love for him to sign a jersey for me.
