Anyone who knows me, knows how passionate I am about my sports teams and how I do not shy away from sharing my opinions, especially if I've had a few too many Beast Lights(which I have been known to do- sorry no Natty Boh for me). I spend most of my free time watching games and highlights, reading articles, studying stats, discussing current events, debating issues, and defending the honor of the Ravens, Orioles, and Terps.

Prior to starting the Charm City Sports Blog, most of my lucid, logical opinions were wasted in drunken arguments with fans of inferior sports knowledge (and usually forgotten by the next morning) and since ESPN (which should be known as the Exaggerated Sports Propaganda Network) and other national media outlets cover the Ravens, O’s, and Terps about as well as Ben Roethlisberger rides a motorcycle, I created the CCSB so that I can share my thoughts with other sports fans in hopes of creating intelligent discussions (although I will continue to engage in drunken arguments on barstools as often as possible). My posts will center on analysis and discussion of current events and reoccurring patterns in things reported by national outlets, discussions from around the blogosphere, and things I hear from other fans, rather than simply reporting news from other sources. Posts will be original and no-holds barred in most cases, but will always be based on well researched material. I invite all fans to discuss, agree, or criticize my ideas in an open forum (unless of course you like the Steelers, Yankees, Red Sox, or Duke, or if you are one of those annoying Redskins fans who thinks that the Ravens and Redskins are rivals- in these cases please leave and never come back!).

The Charm City Sports Blog was born on June 15, 2009 and I am working hard to get it off the ground so please check back daily for updates and please spread the word to fellow fans if you enjoy what you are reading here.
