Great Piece on Guillermo Rigondeaux

2

probably my favorite of the recent spate of Cubans who defected to turn Pro and box, a good piece on him. I like him even a bit more than Lara and Solis, just in terms of Solis and ring presence. He's patient and tactical, a southpaw and excellent reflexes despite his staggering 400 bout amateur career. I'm sad I'll miss fight on the Pacman/Margarito undercard b/c I cannot support Margarito nor a card with which he is involved.

Floyd will fight again. Right now b/c he got paid he's saying he's not thinking about fighting anyone.....but if he was essentially forced to fight Shane to make a payday after a string of highly lucrative fights......one thing we know, it's clear he likes the lifestyle far too much to be done fighting. Period.

Mayweather Determines the rules of drug testing when he fights....

1

in short, Ellerbee is saying that anyone Mayweather fights has to submit to drug testing more strict than required by state commissions. I guess the years of saying how godly he is now means that he sets the rules for what he feels/wants. great. mayweather doesn't want to legitimately fight mosley either, which most of us that read boxing news already knew....Mayweather avoided Mosley for the past few years, he doesn't really want Mosley until he sees him slow down in the ring. how anyone can legitimately say Mayweather is one of the greats when he so clearly ducks ANY dangerous fighter near his fighting weight is beyond me. just look at who he has fought and who he has NOT fought. Period. no other excuses, no more bull**** please. there is who you've fought and who you haven't fought. hell, upwards of 50 million reasons weren't enough to fight Pacman unless it was COMPLETELY on mayweather's terms. what a joke. i feel bad for his fans who actually buy into all his talk. his line for autographs will be a lot shorter in canastota when compared to a lot of other fighters, trust.

Managers in Boxing Vs Managers in MMA

Don King is well known as a promoter (and in truth a manager). Monte Cox is probably the most well known MMA manager. In truth, a manager is not a trainer. A Manager sets up fights, negotiates...
