I am with not being a journalistic 'homer', but some of the recent drivel coming from Dodd crosses the line in the other direction, in my opinion.  Check out his most recent round of potshots-

Missouri's stance 'got us to this place'?  Can I get a logic check on that one, Dennis?  Funny, I thought the Big Ten started all this... and I do remember a certain columnist that both protrayed MU as a slutty waitress, while earlier expounding on how great a candidate MU was for the B10.  And didn't the B12 office and UT (which is a more important statement, admittedly) shoot down the whole tier 'report'?  Why is this still getting parrotted, other than to keep the 'groveling at the feet of UT' line in play?  We know it makes for good copy, but please- acknowledge that you were one of the folks that 'got MU to this place' by being the MAJOR source (the media) of the 'MU is going to the Big Ten/the Big Ten wants MU' talk.  I heard a great comment on this subject recently from Blair Kerkhoff of the Star, who when asked on Metro Sports if 'Mizzou overplayed their hand', stated that 'I think it's more the MEDIA overplayed Mizzou's hand'. 

But hey, the guy is a Mizzou grad living in JOCO, Ks. that has to make you ask some questions... :)

Looks like the KU ticket scandal will make Rickey C.'s jailhouse tapes look like a picnic.  This smells like big time violations to come, with an AAU team's principals at the center.  Sounds like a very handy way to pay players, or pay some AAU folks to push recruits your way. 

And with KU lover Jason King involved, doubt they are fishing on this.  The 'other conference teams ticket managers involved' is slightly scary, but doubt MU folks would play this game, especially with KU folks leading it.  And a very slight concern with Pump n' Run alumni (isn't Marcus D. one?) on the team.

I feel so sorry for them... NOT.  Every KU jerk who went ape sh*t on Rickey C. is learning karma is a beyotch.
