Going to the Civil War
First off....AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Sorry I had that built up.
So I recently moved back in with my parents to help out with my 2 adopted autistic sisters. As well as my other 2 adopted younger siblings. Doing food, yard work, cleaning, etc... (Think living in house manny)
Need some historic help
Ok so I need your guys help for some things.
1. Anyone have a link to former Ducks rosters (say from 1995-current)
2. So you know how when our last two sets of jerseys came out they did a group shot of 4-5 players modeling the new digs...well I'm looking for the same kinda thing for the jersey sets during the Clemens/Fife era and the Joey era.
3. The last thing might take some work, but I'm looking for the combos that we have worn since 2000. Pictures help, but not always needed...if it easier to use the helmet color/jersey color/pant color format (ie: Green/Green/White) then thats fine too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My take on the whole realignment
So with all this talk of College Football realignment I figured I'd take a swing at figuring out FOUR power conferences and FOUR lower-tier conferences.
POWER CONFERENCES
WESTERN CONFERENCE
-- PAC 8 --
1. California
2. Oregon
3. Oregon St.
4. Stanford
5. UCLA
6. USC
7. Washington
8. Washington St.
-- SOUTHWEST --
1. Arizona
2. Arizona St.
3. Colorado
4. Oklahoma
5. Oklahoma St.
6. Texas
7. Texas A&M
8. Texas Tech
NORTHERN CONFERENCE
-- GREAT LAKES --
1. Illinois
2. Indiana
3. Michigan
4. Michigan St.
5. Notre Dame
6. Ohio St.
7. Penn St.
8. Purdue
-- NORTH PLAINS --
1. Iowa
2. Iowa St.
3. Kansas
4. Kansas St.
5. Minnesota
6. Nebraska
7. Northwestern
8. Wisconsin
EASTERN CONFERENCE
-- NORTHEASTERN --
1. Boston College
2. Cincinnati
3. UCONN
4. Maryland
5. Pittsburgh
6. Rutgers
7. Syracuse
8. West Virginia
-- ATLANTIC --
1. Duke
2. Florida St.
3. Miami (FL)
4. North Carolina
5. NC State
6. Virginia
7. Virginia Tech
8. Wake Forest
SOUTHERN CONFERENCE
-- SOUTH --
1. Arkansas
2. Kentucky
3. Louisville
4. LSU
5. Ole Miss
6. Mississippi St.
7. Missouri
8. Vanderbilt
-- SOUTHEAST --
1. Alabama
2. Auburn
3. Clemson
4. Florida
5. Georgia
6. Georgia Tech
7. South Carolina
8. Tennessee
So the way I see it for the National Championship
Western would play Northern
Southern would play Eastern
Winner of Western/Northern would play Southern/Eastern
Winner of that game would be NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
And the next year rotate.
EX: Western vs. Southern...Northern vs. Eastern
Winner of Western/Southern vs. Winner of Northern/Eastern
Winner is National Champion
And rotate once more the following year.
EX: Western vs. Eastern...Northern vs. Southern
Winner of Western/Eastern vs. Winner of Northern/Southern
Winner is National Champion
The next year rotate back to the original matchup and keep it on that rotation.
Just something I threw together and thought I would share with you.

2011 Early Draft Rankings
From Mel Kiper's "Best Available Player at Every Position" on ESPN.com Insider
Casey Matthews - #4 Inside Linebacker (I believe he's the 3rd best)
Kenny Rowe - #4 Outside Linebacker (I believe that's a good spot for Kenny)
Those were the only two Ducks players. I was going to list the rest of the Pac-10 players but...a) I'm lazy and don't really care about the other teams...b) Get your own Insider account :P
Thoughts?
Byrd is the Word / Pro Bowl Voting
Jairus Byrd is now on the NFL Pro Bowl ballot.
VOTE FOR HIM!
Other Univ. of Oregon players on the ballot...
-Jonathan Stewart, RB (NFC)
-Adam Snyder, OT (NFC)
-Max Unger, OG (NFC)
-Igor Olshansky, DE (NFC)
-Haloti Ngata, DT (AFC)
-Jairus Byrd, FS (AFC)
Do your part to put as much Oregon Ducks in the Pro Bowl as we can.
Need more words to meet the minimum so....Juju juju juju juju and juju!
