I started watching the Bucks in the 1972 playoffs when I was a senior in high school. I attended 2 games at the Milwaukee Arena in 1972-73, 2 in 1973-74 and 7 in 1975-76. The cheapest ticket was $3.50. I now live in another city and have been to many games over the years when they have played here. Many fans including myself took that first championship for granted. I have seen all the near misses, most notably 1974. Four teams in each conference made the playoffs at that time, and there was only 3 best of 7 rounds. With money being so much of an issue along with increased competition, a return to glory is almost an illusion. So it will be much more fulfilling if it happens.
