Tim Floyd talks about Krause
"I was coaching at New Orleans in 1988 and we had a short college team, but beat a really good big team, which was being scouted by [Bulls general manager] Jerry Krause. First time I met the guy, he walked up to me, introduced himself and told me one day I'd be coaching the Bulls."

TicketReserve
Here's an interesting idea... this was the offer in the "MyBulls" e-mail:
TicketRESERVE: Post-Season Tickets... Face-Value Prices
But, when you go to the website, you see the catch (I bolded the key part):
For example, you can buy 4 FanFORWARDs for your favorite team the San Antonio Spurs, in Home Game 1 of the 2007 NBA Finals. If the Spurs make it to the 2007 NBA Finals, then your 4 FanFORWARDs give you the right and obligation to pay face value for your tickets and you will be on your way to cheering for the Spurs in Home Game 1 of the 2007 NBA Finals!
From the day you buy your FanFORWARDs up until your team is either eliminated or the market is closed, you have the ability to sell your FanFORWARDs in our marketplace. Or, if you hold on to your FanFORWARDs and the Spurs don't make it to the 2007 NBA Finals there is no refund of the price paid for your FanFORWARDs.

Colangelo War Room footage
Here is a link to a Basketball Jones post showing a video of Toronto's GM Colangelo's phone calls while he was trying to get another first round pick to pick up Marcus Williams in the middle first round. At one point he makes a call to Pax and asks about our pick. Pretty cool video seeing him trying to get info.

Eddy Curry Breathing Hard
This article at the New York Daily News has to bring a smile to your face... at least if you mildly root against the guys we've traded away. Some nuggets:
The punishment for those transgressions seemed particularly cruel for Eddy Curry, who was huffing and puffing from end line to end line and finished last each time. He eventually needed Quentin Richardson and David Lee to pull him along. But at least Curry finished.
...
"My job is to make sure he has great success and make him a better player," Thomas said. "I've had experiences with it before, helping Jermaine (O'Neal) Brad Miller grow. I believe I can have similar success with (Eddy) as well."
I don't give Isiah much of the credit for Jemaine O'Neal and Brad Miller getting better while he was their head coach.

'06-'07 Schedule Announced
The Bulls announced their schedule:
http://www.nba.com/bulls/schedule/
I will add it to my Bulls schedule tonight:
http://www.itoph.com/html/chicago_bulls.html
It allows many calendar clients to see the schedule, without everyone having to enter the details themselves.
My page doesn't specifically say it, but, these calendars are also available in Google calendar.
I welcome any comments/ideas for improvement.

NYKs 2007 Pick
It is not lottery protected is it?
Apparently I can not be that brief. One-line diaries are prohibited on McCovey Chronicles. Give your diary a bit more thought, then give it another shot. If you have nothing to add to your proposed diary, then it probably belongs as a comment under another appropriate thread. The minumum is 300 characters.

Calendar
Is anyone interested in an iCal calendar that shows Bulls game date and time, with TV? I suppose results could be added after the fact. I used one a couple years ago and loved it... I can't find one for this year.
BTW, these calendar's first came to my attention with Apple's iCal program, but, Mozilla's Sunbird also consumes them on Window's and Linux. More info is available here:
