Coming into SF to watch the ball game... Where should I go?
Hey everyone,
I'm a sacramento guy, but today I'm meeting my brother in SF to watch the game. He is coming from Boston (he had a job interview yesterday) and I haven't lived there in SF for a few years, so I was wondering if someone could recommend a good spot to watch with cheap booze and big tvs... preferably not downtown or near the park.
Thanks!
Go Giants!
Also, since I'm helping run the campaign, vote YES ON 19!
The scene: Chili's in Sacramento
I was eating lunch with my girlfriend and a man walked by me. That man looked uncannily like Doug Flutie. But since I was in a chain restaurant in a small-time city I didn't think it could be him. I looked up a pic of Flutie on my gf's phone and made her get up and do a comparison. To her extraordinary surprise, she agreed with me. It was indeed Flutie. I borrowed a sharpie from the restaurant and made my way over to the table. He was very nice and said he was expecting me. I hope it had more to do with the Bills hat I was wearing, rather than my constant staring. Anyway, he signed my hat and shook my hand.
What a great Bill. I still can't believe Johnson started over him against Tennessee.
Weird Timmy Cartoon
I get that whoever made this is making fun of his weed bust, but this is pretty danged weird besides that.
Penny on his cakewalk today...
"But they kind of helped me by swinging at the first and second pitch. I wasn't getting deep into counts. They're such an aggressive team that even when I went 3-1 I was throwing splitties out of the zone and they were chasing them." - Brad Penny
TWIST!!!
WOW! Things I thought would never happen.
Hamdan to start if Edwards can't go
Trent Edwards returned to practice today and will start Sunday's game at Denver if no complications arise. If he cannot go, Gibran Hamdan will get the start. Either way, J.P. Losman is now unequivocally our #3 quarterback. Rejoice!
Brad Miller Speaks; fakes remorse for smoking weed.
Honestly Brad, nothing to be ashamed of; we all do it.
