I cannot think of how this can be a bad thing for the Giants. If he leaves, we did not overpay based upon 3 months of good. If he comes back it will be on market scale. Win Win.

I'm truly without knowledge here, and am wondering what top shelf prospect Boston might have in exchange for Omar.
