First of all, Roll Tide. I had a question regarding recruits and the number we can sign. According to rivals we have 26 recruits that have verbally committed. However, i seem to remember last year the SEC limiting the number we can actually sign to 25. Am I missing something? I noticed we are the only SEC school in this situation, so didn't know if it was going to be an issue. Does anyone know if this rule has been changed?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the guy who first broke the story on Cam Newton.  With all the various reports flying around, its tough to tell where the original story came from.  IF so, what is this guy's reputation in the business?  I believe he is the one who broke the Eric Bledsoe (UK) investigation for reported academic ineligibility and the Enes Kanter (UK) story about reported paying of the recruit while in Turkey.  Admittedly, most of my information regarding the latter two stories is from UK fans, but they seem to claim this guy is full of S&%$ and twists stories to sensationalize them. 

So, I'm just wondering if anyone knows the reputation of this guy and if he is known for solid reporting or known for merely sensationalist writing.

Just an FYI for those that have wanted info on sending items to CNS for signature.  Not really surprising after the recent success, but:

I know its still early, but i wanted to see if anyone was heading to Pasadena for the BCS Championship Game.  I will be there, although i do not have a ticket for the game.  I lucked into scheduling a required trip to Irvine, CA for work around the national championship...so this trip is on the boss!! 

Anyhow, hopefully we'll have a good RBR showing and can all meet up and celebrate (hopefully celebrate number 13!!)

4.  Tebow is introduced to his new best friend, Mr. McClain who spies him all day, essentially shutting down the run game and scramble and forces Tebow to win with his arm, thus ensuring a Bama Victory

First of all, Great game last night!

Bama Fan here.  And I have an odd request.  My brother in law is a die hard UK fan.  Born in Kentucky and transplanted down here to sunny florida.  That being said, I wanted to get him a Christmas gift that he would appreciate.  Through the University of Alabama, I was able to order an autographed picture of Coach Saban for my father at a cost of $5.  It was a simple order form on the athletics website.  And I wanted to do the same for my brother in law with Coach Cal.

I searched through the UK athletics site and was unable to find anything, so I turn to you, esteemed fans of the Big Blue.  I was wondering if anyone knew of a similar program at UK.  As a side note, my wife was able to get me a signed football by coach saban by just mailing it up to the University and they mailed it back signed.  Pretty sweet.  So if they have that kind of program as well, please let me know.

Ok, we are at it again.  I, for one, am more nervous for this game then last week.  Hopefully we don't have a let down after the big game.  That being said, feel free to add your predictions here.  Feel free to go out on a limb.  I don't think anyone predicted Julio's 73 yard catch last week...so step it up people.

1.  We win in a close one by 6.

2.  Cody scores a rushing TD (I think he would have last week but for Julio's penalty at the goal line)

Just two days until game time!!  Thought it would be fun to start a prediction post.  No outlandish comments such as bama will win by 400 points and Tebow will be injured during the game (although if ingram wore a three wolves and a moon t-shirt, see Greatest Shirt in the World, it could happen).  Lets keep it to what we really think will happen, if you are interested.

Here goes, and I'll start it off with a couple:

2.  Cody scores a rushing touchdown

Does anyone know when the athletic department is having another signing window to send stuff in?  I have shown my signed football to numerous people.  Apparently I am their hero as they now want to copy my.  Either that or they think its a great idea.  I vote for the latter.  I assume it is not any time soon due to the current season, but any insight would be much appreciated.  Roll Tide Roll!

I find it ridiculous if they get off with no more than a slap on the wrist for blantant violations that would put us on the chopping block. 

On the same note, has there been any more word on the "text-book scandal"?  I have not read anything sense the reports first came out.

Everyone is getting so excited about the Mclaren kid.  In my limited knowledge of college football recruiting, didn't we just recruit one of the most highly touted qb's in the country (jackson).  I just wonder what the thinking is recruiting and signing two quaterbacks who both have the talent to take us the next level.  I know its good to have multiple players at each position, but what's going to happen when one or the other gets frustrated with the lack of playing time.  It could turn out like a Matt Mauck situation at LSU when one waits for the other to leave, but just wanted to know your thoughts.

What is LSU doing?  It looks like Ohio State has a much better game plan to start the game.  They are even looking faster than LSU.  HOpefully the tigers don't dissapoint like floriday has already done this year.  Where did this running back for ohio state come from?  He looks big fast and a bruiser.  That is the type of running back we need to recruit.

According to Tider Insider...Chris Jackson is a new commitment to the Tide.  He graduates from highschool friday and will be joining the Tide starting January.  This is a great pick-up as not only is he a great player, but he will not count against our 08 class!  According to stats I've seen, 76 catches for 1,470 yards and 19 touchdowns. He added another five touchdowns rushing.  Could be another great duel threat reciever/runner.
