i'm a minor league fan - i love to watch the kids work their way out of their high school or college kinks, love to watch the fire with which they play, love to try to project who's gonna make it and who's not. although not the full answer, a good portion of the Orioles' future lies in rebuilding their farm system, not only with smart drafting and trades and international acquisitions, but also with a consistent top-to-bottom player development strategy, quality coaching, and a more conservative timetable for advancement.

well, that's my opinion anyway :)
