If you are bored to death and suffering from a basketball withdraw on this long OFF-season, there will be a (very) early charity game this Sunday (August 9th) between Leadrinho's friends (including Shawn Marion) and Varejão's friends. Most of the money will be reverted to Hope Unlimited, an organization that provides care for Brazilian youth.

Today the Brazilian national team just won the Super-Four mini-tournament , defeating a very young Australian team 95-67, with 15 pts in just 20 minutes by Leandro Barbosa. Varejao defended well a very frustated Nathan Jawaii. Yesterday Brazil defeated Uruguay 100-63, with 19 pts from Varejão and 18 by Barbosa.
