Bleed Cubbie Blue The elephant (er..Ryno) in the dugout

Noticed the AP article today
http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=ap-cubs-sandberg&prov=ap&type=lgns and the comments by Al a few days ago.  I cant help but think that Ryno will be on the Cubs bench next season.  When thinking of Santo's comments regarding Sandbeg yesterday - paraphrase (Ryno was so nice as a player, a joker, now tough, hardcore manager, ejections, etc) - one thing comes to mind.  Ryno is a winner.  Failure is not an option.  As a manager, being unable to affect the game on the field via physical ability, this character trait comes through.  When some mention Ryno could replace Trammel, I agree.  This would be the best situation for Ryno to begin to have impact and assist in the development of his team.  I am no Trammel expert but he seems to be the perfect example of what Ryno does not want to do (failure as a manager).  Ryno has made the right first steps and a bench coach seems to be the logical next step.
