Fake Teams 1 Dedicated gm needed for 10 yr old Keeper league.

Very active year round keeper league is in need of a dedicated (if not fantasy obsessed) GM to replace a long time member. Details as follows:

- 16 team keeper league
- 8 keepers, 2 rookie carryovers, 1 sophomore carryover and 14 man farm system
- Annual draft for remaining players not kept beginning in March and an amatuer draft in January for MLB draftees.
- 5x5 head to head with OBP and QS as cats.
- vacated roster includes Adrian Beltre, Josh Hamilton, Jordan Zimmerman, Brandon Beachy (rookie carryover), and Chris Carpenter to name a few
- free league but very competitive, bragging rights are invaluable!

This is a very good league run by a dedicated commisioner with many long time active members. Someone with good knowledge of the minor leagues is a big bonus but most important is someone who will compete daily and always been trying to find ways to improve their squad, either in the short-term or long-term. AIM is also a must as its very active and you will get trade offers and general trade chat with other gms on a daily basis.

We are looking to find the replacement GM as soon as possible as our Annual Amateur Draft begins on Jan 2.

Any interested applicants please email both david__wagner@hotmail.com and malone2finley@yahoo.com. Thanks and hope to hear from you.

Fake Teams GM needed for established decade old keeper league

16 team keeper league, 8 keepers, 2 rookie carryovers and 1 sophomore carryover and 14 man farm system. We have a yearly draft for remaining players not kept beginning in March and an amatuer draft in January for MLB draftees. 5x5 head to head with OBP and QS as cats. 11 year league with very little turnover looking for two new dedicated (if not fantasy obsessed) GM's. This is a very good league, run by a dedicated commisioner that is active 12 months a yr. Someone with good knowledge of the minor leagues is a big bonus but most important is someone who will compete daily and always been trying to find ways to improve their squad, either in the short-term or long-term. AIM is also a must as its very active and you will get trade offers and general just chat with other gms on a daily basis.

We are looking to find replacement Gm's for these teams as soon as possible as our Annual League Improvement Meeting is coming in October and would like these GM's to be involved.

Minor League Ball You Make the call, whos better longterm Julio Borbon vs Jacoby Ellsbury

Now im sure when people read this theyll call me an idiot for comparing Ellsbury to a double A prospect . I will admit i am a Borbon fan and feel he has been slightly underrated , partly because  getting lost in the shuffle due to the jacked system the Rangers have. I was looking for a comp to Borbon longterm, ive heard Johnny Damon before but obviously with his age now i was tryin to look for someone a little younger for the post. If you look at Ellsbury and Borbon at the age of 22 their stats are eerily similiar . Both started in High A and moved to Double A. Both hit over 300, Both hit 7 Hrs and both had 40 plus steals(Borbon 50 plus).

Ellsbury

22 yr between high A and double A

442 ab, .303/384 7 hr 51 rbis 64 runs 41 sb(17 cs) slg .425 ops .810 strikeouts 53

Borbon

22yr old between high A and double A

541 ab, .322/ 363 7 hr, 58 rbis, 86 runs, 53 sb(18 cs) slg 427 ops 790 strikeouts 62

I think you can see why i made the comparison , so the question is, in 5 yrs time who will be the better player Julio Bobon or Jacoby Ellsbury.

Close call to me but i go Borbon in the upset, what about you?
