So yea all those annoying commercials about the switch ..you thought they were over right ? Wrong. The Senate passed a bill today which delays it until June 12th yippee. So now those of who are local get to watch channel 4 and others oversell this whole thing like its the 2nd coming of Y2K every news cast. Link to the article

Per DMN :

Breathe easy ... this post isn't about Marion "The Barbarian" Barber.

Sources inform Calvin "Lucky" Watkins that the Cowboys and Dolphins are discussing a trade that would send NT Jason Ferguson, a Bill Parcells favorite for years, to Miami. Not clear yet what the Cowboys might get in return.

Ferguson, who suffered a season-ending injury in the opener, is expendable because of the emergence of Jay Ratliff. Tank Johnson, who has stayed out of trouble since signing with Dallas, gives the Cowboys quality depth at nose tackle.

More to come as this story develops.

In the mail the other day I received a contract from Chesapeake Energy asking for my mineral rights for 5 years for a 22% royalty plus a signing bonus. The thing I dont understand is its not like I have a bunch of land. Just a normal size house and yard in a 20 year old subdivision in North Fort Worth. There is a bunch of land to the west of our subdvision with a big gas well . My question is has anyone done this before and is there anything I should look out for ?

per rotoworld-

Juan Rivera sustained a broken left tibia while playing winter ball in Venezuela on Friday.

Rivera's left leg has been placed in a cast and he will be flown to Miami, where he will be re-examined by a trauma specialist tomorrow. Depending on how severe the break is, he might not be ready for the beginning of the season. If he is ready, at least the Angels will finally have a good excuse for using him as a DH and Garret Anderson in the outfield. A severe break would increase the chances that the Angels sign Shea Hillenbrand and might cause them to give Aubrey Huff's agent a call. Dec. 22 - 11:32 pm et

I have AT&T DSL..and ever since yesterday I cannot access ESPN. All other websites that I frequently go to work just fine. But when I go to ESPN it just times out and a Dell Search Page shows up and says "Sorry, we couldn't find http://www.espn.com/. Here are some related websites: " anyone have any idea what would be causing this ? Is it a problem with my ISP or my browser or something ?
