Classy Move by Tom Grieve

I generally only post on Burnt Orange Nation, but I'm daily lurker of this site.  While everything generally gets covered--and re-covered--here, I have a fairly personal anecdote involving Tom...

Leadership, Marketing, and UT Basketball...

Within my confession post last week, I made a promise that the BON Basketball Headshed would be cranking out a massive roundtable at the beginning of this week.  Tonight, that promise is officially...

Hyperizers and UT Basketball...

Ladies and gentlemen, the countdown has officially begun... Any Longhorns fan with a pulse has been enduring an agonizingly long off-season, and the first game simply cannot come soon enough. ...

At the risk of CWS overload, I wanted to make a final post prior to the game tomorrow night.  As Longhorns fans, we've been entreated to several magical moments over the last few weeks.  We've also...

BON CWS DC Watch Party

14

Jeff Asher (half of 40AS) and myself will be watching the CWS tomorrow night at the Rhodeside Grill in DC. While I'm only a DC summer transplant, it's known as the "Texas Bar" by the locals. We're both going to try to arrive well before the first pitch. Jeff will be wearing a UT baseball jersey, and I plan on sporting one of my "Texas Law" shirts. Take a car, take a cab, take the metro--take whatever it takes to get there. We'll be eating steak, drinking beer, and hopefully watching magical victory from the anointed "Team of Destiny." Hook 'Em! [Update by 40AS]: For those that'll be joining, Rhodeside Grill is two blocks from the Courthouse metro on Wilson Blvd. They've got a small parking lot but there's usually street parking relatively close by.

Horns #3 in Katz's Revised Top 25

Following the dust settling on the NBA Draft List, Andy Katz posted his final Top 25 before the fall. Katz says OU and A&M were considered, but he has Kansas State as the only other ranked team in the conference. KU #1 UT #3 KSU #24

In the multitude of BON posts over the magical weekend at the Disch, we've soaked and basked in the afterglow of the two weekend victories from nearly every angle.  Like many Longhorns fans, we've...

Ranking the '08-'09 Home Games...

Favorite Memory of Kevin Durant...

Open Game Thread: Kansas State at Texas

VY plays...

Frustratingly mediocre day for VY in leading the Titans offense in a 23-0 loss to the Colts. Vince entered the game in the 2nd quarter and was replaced by Chris Simms with 6:38 left in the game. I didn't get to see the game, but the reaction from Titans fans seems in line with the stats. 9-13 for 55 yards 5 rushes for 25 yards 2 sacks, 1 fumble (not lost)
