Chuck Greenberg's bid gets approval from Tom Hicks:

It looks like Nolan Ryan isn't going anywhere. Baseball sources have confirmed that Tom Hicks has all but accepted the bid of Chuck Greenberg, who is partnered with Ryan, to purchase the Texas Rangers. Negotiations still on-going, according to sources, but things have tipped heavily in Greenberg's direction.

This is all Jeff Wilson has for now.

According to one of the sources, the investment group includes Hicks' family and a number of other prominent local investors.
No details on the sales price or anything like that. This group will have 45 days with which to negotiate exclusively with Hicks on finalizing a deal.

Tim Thomas is underrated. If you think he can't make an impact on this team when healthy, you are dead wrong.
I'm not sure Drew Gooden has the mentality to consistently be the type of player he could be good at being, but he will flash it now and then.
Roddy B continues to wow me with the way he moves with the basketball in his hands. He's so raw, yet, he seems to have an innate ability to get into the lane and break down a defense, rarely looking out of control to do so. Oh, and his touch is oh so soft.
