Sooooo I was thinking about not posting this because I figured the more people that entered this contest, the less chance I would win. But then I realized that I never win these things anyways AND being out in LA it would be hard for me to get out there on such short notice (not that I wouldnt try everything I could) and I figured that if someone was going to win this contest, why not someone from MHR?

Anyways idk if this has been posted already I didn't look to see, but the Denver Post has a contest going so check it out.

If you win and need some company, remember the guy that helped you find out about the contest ; )

As a bronco fan in Southern California, its hard to actually see one of our games on tv unless were playing the raiders or chargers. I havent been able to watch the preseason games outside of the first few drives so far, so I was wondering, how is Smith doing? Has he gotten any meaningful snaps yet? thanks for the update in advance. Also, sorry if there has been an update on him on MHR that I haven't read, I looked around and didnt really find anything. thanks again.

According to an article from the UCLA Newsroom, the greatness that is Undie Run will no longer be allowed. According to the article, "safety, escalating costs associated with damage to university property, and police and fire department staffing" seem to be the reasons why it will no longer take place.

Even though in recent years the route had been revised the costs of such a tradition apparently outweighed the benefits in the eyes of the administration.

As a student I think this is horrible. Even though the craziness that is the Wednesday of finals week is well documented, it became part of being a student at UCLA.

However, I do understand how this became a problem. It really got to the point where it was more than just UCLA students attending, but the flip side was that it all came together to make it fun. I even met some ppl during spring quarter's undie run from Canada who said they heard about it and were in the area and decided to check it out.

Which brings me to this, what are your memories of Undie Run? I'm sure some of you have some great memories to share with the BN community

This has to be a joke right? No, accoring to an article in the Denver Post an anonymous Nuggets player has accused the Lakers of paying off the league 50 Grand to get the calls from the game. More after the jump.

In what can be summarized as an article lacking any true substance besides baseless accusations by an <strike>"anonymous"</strike> classless nuggets player. $50,000 for a game? Maybe if they took a look at the box score from the game it would make a little more sense.

Billups takes 7 shots in 39 minutes, while Kenyon Martin takes 15.

J.R. takes not 1, not 2, not 7, but 10 3's and makes exactly 1 more than I did last night.

The disparity in free throw shooting from the game was a whole 5 shots at 35-30 in favor of the Lakers.

With the offense struggling at the beginning of the 4th quarter, George Karl leaves Carmelo, by far their best offensive weapon, on the bench as the lead for the Lakers gets bigger than Karl's eyes at a Home Town Buffet.

I could go on and on but you catch my drift. $50,000 for a game huh? who exactly did we pay this to, the Nuggets or the refs, because from all accounts it looks like it was the inability of the Nuggets squad entering the 4th quarter to generate the stops necessary to win the game. Lets not even get started on the calls, or lack there of in game 4. Stay classy Denver.

I gotta say there has been a lot of ppl talking about the game today on campus, and though finals are around the corner, there are going to be a lot of people going out to staples for the game. I think we will have a pretty sizeable student section, its 5 o'clock and theres already a lot of people leaving from campus to head out there. Hopefully it will be a great crowd.

How does that warrant a fanpost here on MHR? Well it probably leaves Seattle who was originally looking to get someone like a Crabtree, out to get Raji, who we all know by now as someone who was on our radar. Especially now that Crabtree won't be participating in all events at his ProDay, it probably means that Raji won't fall to us. In which case, I think its got to be LB for us, but some of you have done much more hw in regards to the draft than I have, so I ask what does this change for Denver?
