Just passin' on a good idea for those of you in the military or a Dept. of Defense worker and going to the Bama v. Va Tech game this Saturday, keep in mind that you can use the Military Lodging at Ft. McPherson just south of Atlanta. Its about $34 a night and there is a MARTA station just outside the gate that you can use to go straight to the GA Dome. They usually only take reservations about 24 hours out but they'll sometimes let it slide if you're nice about it. Just call 404-464-2253. Roll Tide and Beat Navy

Rivalry

Counting the Alabama-Auburn as the absolute #1 college football rivalry in America (as if anyone could really say the Iron Bowl isn't the greatest) , what do y'all think is the next best? My vote goes to Army-Navy eventhough my Cadets haven't beaten the Middies since the Tide last whooped the Barners. tOSU and MIchigan? ND and USC? Just curious to see everyone else's opinions on this....

Saban's teaching methods...

My girlfriend at UA was told by a special teams player that Saban chewed Glen Coffee out after the game for fumbling against UK. To teach him a lesson Saban is currently making him carry a football with him at all times around campus until the next game. Apparently, this isn't the first time that Coach Saban has done this as he made Ali Broussard do this at LSU. Just a funny thought.
