Coach K on Duke/ FSU
Anyone else enjoy how complimentary of us Coach K has become? He probably should be because I think it is deserved. I like his press conferences in general and his show on Sirius is pretty good.

Jimbo's TV Show
Can we get Gene back in there doing the highlights with coach? Block seems like a nice enough guy, but man is he boring. I realize that it probably doesn't matter since Jimbo is talking like the micro machine man, but Gene would be better. On a positive note, the show is way more informative now. The last five year's Bobby's analysis consisted of, "there's ole' 89 again, who is that? that's Carr, he's from Citra Florida"

I always wondered what people were talking about on here when they would say stuff like "he's got character issues". What the heck does that mean, does he not shake hands with the other team, doesn't work hard in the off-season, what gives? Turns out in this kid's case he wears his football gloves to commit burglaries. To me this goes beyond "wrong place wrong time". I really wanted him, now I'm really glad we don't have him.

How great is our head coach? I always enjoyed his weekly pressers, but in this last month he has really transformed from coordinator to HC in terms of poise and charisma, I am impressed.

"A Florida State program is going to go and be outclassed by better athletes, better playmakers, from that BYU program. I think that man-to-man coverage has been a problem of Florida State's for years now. They don't have the personnel to do it. This is not the 1980's. And I think that max Hall with all those weapons; Dennis Pitta, Mckay Jacobsen, Harvey Unga, all the way down, I think that they are going to exploit this defense."
I know there are some people that appreciated someone calling out MA , but I for one was really offended by it, mostly because of how confidently he said it and "outclassed"? Come on, since when did BYU start signing athleates in a higher class?
In regards to simple man scheme vs a more sophistocated zone scheme (that our players might not understand as well and would no doubt cut down on their ability to play aggressively) someone mentioned it earlier this week, a zone would probably have allowed max hall to pick us apart. I realize it wasn't a great defensive performance and I wasn't charting the defensive play calling, but for someone who was, doesn't it seem like man coverage was the way to go for this week especially?
And for my primary reason for posting, can anyone make my week and report on any sightings of Todd McShay (or any other ESPN personalities) eating his share of crow pie? Or maybe post the Game Day final segment on FSU's 'shocking win'.
