Not our swollen knee

1

Greg Oden held out due to swelling in the knee? I feel for the guy, but I'm also glad this is no longer Blazer fans' problem.

Did Portland Miss Out on "Luscious Legs"

1

Ron Howard, AKA "Luscious Legs" Cunningham, the pride of Jefferson High, just signed a non-guaranteed contract with Indiana. He's no Ralph Malph on defense, but if he can hit more shots like that game-winner against Oshkosh this could bring Happy Days for the Pacers and prove to be a steal from right under the Bucks' noses. Of course, if he can't shoot free throws any better than he did against Fillmore, he may never get on the floor at crunch time (barring another unforeseen injury to Calby).

Stotts on the Hot Seat?

4

Moke Hamilton at Hoopsworld has a breakdown of all the Western Confernce coaches and the temperatures of their respective seats. He lists Stotts' Seat as among the hottest. I think the Blazers will be good enough for Stotts to survive into 2014-2015. What do y'all think?

Aldridge for Lee? No way.

1

I don't mind Lee, but he's not nearly as complete a player as Aldridge, and not as athletic. Don't think the Blazers would do this for basketball reasons. I've learned that Woj. usually knows what he's talking about, so it's interesting that GS would give up on Lee.
