I hate Memphis
It turns my stomach to see Memphis ranked ahead of Louisville, Pittsburgh, and Oklahoma. That really go's to show you rankings really don't mean anything! But if you are going to have rankings, than do them right. Memphis "key wins", Gonzaga and Tennessee, yee haw, watch out world!, two of their 3 losses came by Big East teams, G-Town, and Syracuse. Gonzaga has under achieved, and Tennessee, well it's not Chris Lofton's Tennessee anymore, man do they sure miss him. Anyway Memphis has not lost a CUSA game since The 'Ville, Cincy, Marquette, DePaul, and USF has left them behind. They were talking that CUSA is a one bid conferance, and yet that one bid team is #3 in the country pa-lease! I say lets kick DePaul out of the Big East and bring in Memphis, and than lets see what they got. Sure last year they were good, but this aint last year, and all those guys are gone. Lets renew that rivalry, it would undoubtly solitify our b-ball dominance, but it would give us another football team also. Let's also tell Notre Dame either get in or get out. It aint right how they just get to do whatever they want to do. They reap the benefits of being Independant with their fat TV contract with NBC, and they pick the best basketball conferance to join. If all your other sports programs are in a conferance, than so should your football.
Pick up the pieces and move on, quickly.
They better fix some things ASAP, and by they I mean, NOT T-Will. Without him last night they would have gotten killed. The last game against WVU, the first half was probaly one of the best halves they played all year. In the second half they stunk It was like Western Kentucky stink, or Minnesota stink. I didn't think it would bleed over into UCONN, and sure enough, it did. I know UCONN is #1, and they deserve it, but we are a lot better than who ever the hell that was that showed up last night. Now they have to put this behind them quickly, learn from it. I think they have more to learn from a loss last night, rather than a win. Like for example: Earl Clark you are a great player, however, your not ready for the NBA, UCONN proved that to you. Samardo Samuels, I think, you should probaly already know this, you are not ready either, be ready for another year in The Ville, we will be glad to have you BOTH back. If you can't handle Thabeet, how can you even entertain the notion of going up against NBA powers. Losing last night was not like losing 2 months ago, I just wish I could have seen a better effort. I have never seen them play like that. Normaly if they are hot, they are hot, and if they are cold, they are cold, but last night it was like, hot, cold, hot, cold, than COLD. Turnovers have killed our rythem, we get a steal, and turn it right back over. Our rebounding was not there last night either. I understand they can't get it right all the time, but shit, last night, and the 2nd half of Saturdays game, they were getting it wrong most of the time. So now, lets move on, get ready for St. Johns, and the fact we have to play in Madison Square Garden, a place that has not been too friendly to us in the past, and go out and get another win. By the way did Denny Crum court have ice on it last night or what?, awful lot of steps called.
GO CARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope this never ends.........because,
The Basketball team seems to be firing on all cylinders, and it couldn't have come at a better time. The girls B-ball team is playing very well. The Baseball team is ranked in the top 25 of their respective sport. As a matter of fact, all the programs are doing great, except....... Yes the football team. I'm locked in on Basketball right now, but I just had to go and check who the dumb ass has hired as a D-coordinator. All I can say is I'm so disappointed I don't even get mad anymore, I just laugh, because thats what it has turned into, a joke. He is filling our staff with a bunch of fired or misplaced coaches. Granted I haven't seen what these guys are capable of, but the writing is on the wall. They have come from some small conferance school, and they have either been fired, or let go. Hmmmm, do you mean to tell me that we can't even attract the slightest interest from someone that has been in a BCS conferance, to the facilitys, tools that they have in The 'Ville? It is a sad day, they are filling the staff, and locker room with coaching flunkies, and JUCO guys. Thats another thing, I checked on the recruiting. it is terrible, not even going to say anything else. Man I feel sorry for Jeff Brohm, being the hometown hero and have to set their and watch BOZO the CLOWNTHORPE totally tear down the program that he once helped build up. By the way Tom Jurich, I hear that Jon Gruden is available, wouldn't it be something to see CHUCKY stalking the sidelines at PJCS? Sorry to bring back up this terrible subject, but I had to get it out, anyway back to Basketball. GO CARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Minnesota comments
After their wierd schedule (one game a week, and than three in one weekend) I'm glad too see them get a week off. I was at the Ole Miss game, and they, by I mean they, I mean Earl Clark started out great. Than it was like they, by they, I mean the whole team, just started setting for bad shots, and not finding the open man. But today they just got out executed by a blue collar team. Kudos to Minnasota, they dug in and outlasted all the whistles. My god, that definately was'nt a BIG EAST crew, man they blew the whistle too much. Thats one of our weaknesses for sure. They can't play a slow game. Another of course, is the free throw shooting. If they would have hit their free throws, they would have won that game by five or more points. We were in the double bonus with nine minutes to go in the game, and with the officiating we could have made a living at the line. They need to start taking better shots, and for crying out loud FIX THE SPACING!!!! Thats why they can't get nothing going down low, they are too bunched up. Samuels needs to think about passing more, he gets the ball, and immediatly thinks about the rim, he ain't in high school any more, if its there fine, but otherwise kick it out and set up a teammate. Hope they hit it hard at practice UAB is going to bring it. It's better to lose early, if you are going to lose, so here's to hoping theres not to many more losses. GO CARDS!!!!!
I hope with this new arena, they don't let the asslickers down the road play a tune up game. Shame on Freedom Hall.
Just a good old fashioned RANT!
Professional sports are a joke, and I would like to propose a boycott of events.
I am so sick of these pampered overpayed athletes. As a matter of fact I'm sick of ESPN just running everything in the ground. Our country and it's citizens have more things to worry about other than what overpayed millionare the New York Yankees are going to lure in next. We are in a recession thousands of people are losing their jobs, and they just keep cramming this garbage down our throats. I don't care what CC Sabathia is wanting for a contract, or the fact that Manny Ramirez could muster up enough kahonies too turn down 25 million a year, too play baseball? Is this where we are at in our society? Some of my freinds said that I'm a "hater" because I don't respect the fact that they are that good to deserve that kind of money. I'm sorry, but no one is worth that kind of money, especially to play a game. But it's our fault, we are the one's that go to the games and pay the rediculous prices to watch these pre-madonnas in action. if I were a serious fan of a lower market baseball team, and they had a couple of good players that were having break out years, I would seriously wonder if they were playing too try and win, or just to get noticed and offered a huge contract by the Yankees. Americans are'nt buying cars, they are losing their homes, and if they haven't lost their homes they are having trouble keeping the lights on and food on the table. I'm scared for my fellow countrymen, but I could give a shit about the professional athlete, because they sure as shit don't give a damn about their fans! Look I know its these guys goal to become a pro, but give me a break the fan is the one paying their contracts, and I think a lot of them forget that. Love college though, all they need too do is fix this BCS shit, because its a monopoly in it's self. GO CARDS!!!
Drop a line, I'm wondering if I'm the only one that feels this way about it.
Glad to see they got the message
Much better performance today. I know that team is winless, but it looks like the message got through. Last week they looked like they had the attitude that WKU was'nt worthy of sharing the same court with them, and they found out the hard way. Today they looked humbled, and hungry. We'll find out with how the rest of the weekend go's, but much better today! GO CARDS!!! I know basketball is here and thank God for that, but I can't resist to plug my favorite website.

rumors suck
I spent all day yesterday checking ESPNEWS to see if the deed had been done. So needless to say, yesterday stunk. i'm willing to wait till after the weekend, because I'm sure they don't want any distractions for the B-ball team, Lord knows after last weekend they don't need it! However, if they did fire Krag's sorry ass, there would be 20,000 very happy people in Freedom Hall!
Kragthorpe has too go!
I can't even imagine going through another offseason knowing that we have this moron coming back to our beloved school. This past year was bad enough. Although I was trying to be postive at the beginning of this season, it quickly turned to worry and anger. Losing to Kentucky it used to be like "oh my god we just lost to kentucky, the worst football school you can lose too." But now, Kentucky is the one that might have to say that about the possibility of losing to us! I'm as a die hard as they come. I have two, yes two Louisville tattoos on my right forearm, yes forearm, not shoulder, or back, but forearm. I hate Kentucky with a passion, wait a minute K------entucky, or K-------ragthorpe, which can I not stand more?, well both, but at this moment in time the latter definetaly has a huge advantage. When I say, or even here that name, I instantly cringe with a huge pain, you know the kind, hold on a minute I have to go take a Kragthorpe! I wonder if a person could get some use out of that name?,,,,, thinking, maybe Kragthorpe Barf Bag's, or Coach Krag Dog Crap Sack. Tom Jurich your great, don't really appreciate you calling out the fans, after all, its us idiot fans your going to want come to that expanded stadium (man, I really hope you delay building that, you can't even fill the one you got.), and to think, I WAS really excited about that too.
